The staff at the hotel and concierge were extremely helpful and we had a great experience! The breakfast was amazing, and the hotel also provides access to private beach! However, there was an incident on our last night where the fire alarm went off at 1AM. All the hotel guests were evacuated and we ended up exiting from the casino in the hotel. The staff at the casino were extremely rude and did not provide instructions on how to exit the building at all. They all stood there and looked at all the hotel guests, then another staff from casino were rushing to get us out of the casino, not providing any instructions on where and what to do to get out of the building. Clearly the staff at the casino weren't trained to respond in this situation.

We had never heard of Cavtat and chose the hotel (post yacht trip) because it was close to Dubrovnik airport and had great ratings. The area and the hotel were SPECTACULAR!!! We will definitely return. The area is AMAZING as is this BEAUTIFUL boutique hotel with the most incredible staff!! We wish we could have stayed longer! The rooms were large, very cool (in the heatwave) and well appointed. Hotel grounds and amenities were excellent. The location is perfect and we took a water taxi to old town Dubrovnik for the day from right by the hotel. We wish we would have stayed in Cavtat for our one day as it was much more charming.
