"The cabin was real nice and clean. Everything in it worked well the grounds were nice and clean. It was real quiet the only noise were the crickets outside. The owners were very helpful as far as where to go and things to do in the area. We will be going back and staying at these little cabins every time we go. "

"Wish we had a way to control the weather. The week had thunderstorms and tornado threats most of the week. That caused lake levels to be 2 to 3 ft higher than normal, a very unusual occurrence, according to locals. The house was very comfortable. The spiral staircase was a little bit of a child hazard, but there was a gate at the top of the stairs (2 yr old figured out how to unlock within the first hour in the house and still no mishaps.) "Property was just as listed. Near the lake, lots of campers and RV's as well as lake homes nearby. My guess is it's a hoppin place during the summer season with many friendly folks around. House had everything we needed to be comfortable and allowed us to stay within an hour drive of seeing the eclipse. Lots of good places to eat close by too. Would stay again."

"We chose this cabin for a weekend getaway to relax and enjoy the outdoors. This cabin was exactly what we needed. We loved the cute, little cabin and all the amenities. The view is breathetaking. My daughter spent hours fishing the lake and caught multiple bluegill and fish. We appreciated the board games, cards and activity books provided with the house. We made good use of them on the rainy days. The cabin was very stocked and had everything we need. Host were great and very quick to respond...

We appreciated the thoughtful ammenities (coffee, water in fridge,etc) and the well-cared for kitchenware. "We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean & nicely decorated. The hosts provided extras like snacks and a variety of coffees, hot chocolate, etc. We were close to the lake and enjoyed walking along a lakeside path. There was a lovely patio where we were able to sit & enjoy the views including a group of deer who strolled by."
