Punta Esmeralda Condos
The unit is dirty and in need of maintenance. The 2 doors under the sink have broken hinges and we had to tie them together to avoid injury. The 5 gallon water bottle was 1/3 full and we ran out. No instructions for the TV so we only could watch Prime using our membership. The blessing was that we went 10 days without watching the news. The bathrooms are not stocked properly. 2 tiny soap bars and poor quality shampoo. We ran out of TP and had to purchase more for the Condo. The owner is on the cheap so everything is low quality, they are milking the profits. The grounds are very pretty and well maintained. The pools are great. The beach is very rocky and you cannot take long strolls on the beach. We recommend you rent a car when you stay here. The only transportation is a cab or Uber ride. There isn't any retail or restaurants in walking distance of Punta Esmeralda. The only restaurant on the grounds is very good and the staff is very friendly. The tennis and pickleball courts are very nice. Contacting the host was difficult however he did respond to us running out of water and bringing a new container over. We would recommend a different unity if you are going to Punta Esmeralda.
