Pet Friendly, Lake Jolanda Lodge sits along the Wenatchee River where a small dam forms Lake Jolanda. Just 3.9 miles west of Leavenworth in the gorgeous Tumwater Canyon, next to the Alps Candy Store. Outside, sit in the new outdoor oasis, cook in the outdoor grilling area, sit under the stars & watch a game, relaxing in the hot tub or enjoy sitting around the firepit! Inside, the lodge boasts large waterfront windows, rock fireplace, recently updated furniture. Max of 4 guests with your choice of 3 QN BDR's, 1 BDR w/ 2 twin beds, 2 Bathrooms on main floor, 2 living rooms & full kitchen on main floor, 1 BDR with Bathroom w/ 2 QN beds in loft area. Deer, Bear, Mountain Goats, Salmon, Otters, Beaver and Eagles have all been seen from our deck. The view anytime of year is spectacular!

Base rate includes 1-4 guests (base rates range depending on dates)

Great location and setting but Ring Camera recording hot tub and fire pit area wasn't appreciated
Great location right outside of Leavenworth on Highway 2. House was comfy, warm, clean with a great view. Internet was definitely upgraded and fast enough to watch football and stream shows. Honestly I'd love to go back with family and friends but probably not with the location of the outside Ring camera. It was placed above the hot tub overlooking the hot tub and fire pit/ back yard. I get a ring camera on the door and side of the house to monitor people coming onto the property but to be in the hot tub or fire pit area and seeing the Ring camera on and recording felt pretty invasive. The flood light came on multiple times and you could see the red recording lights at night. I figured others would like to be aware of the placement before booking to determine the level of privacy they prefer. If not for the camera I'd give it a 5 star rating and come back and stay again.

This home was beautiful. Everything was perfection. The home was very comfortable. We only had 3 adults and a baby, but if you had more people, the two living rooms and the outdoor space makes it perfect for room to spread out. the yard is fenced in, so perfect for our dog. We loved the view. We saw bears, eagles, and even a beaver floating by!! Even though the highway is behind the property, we were away from it enough not to hear or see it. Check out Leavenworth (10 mins away), it is adorable!!!

Paradise next to a candy shop, doesn’t get better than that!
This was our second stay at lake jolanda. First was in winter time with lots of snow & this stay was in summer with lots of sunshine! We had a blow up island that we anchored in the water in front of property! So much fun. The only draw back was the ice machine was broken & the wifi was tripped off because we plugged in the outside lights. We figured this out the next day. We didn’t have wifi for 12 hrs, but we survived! Lol

Enjoyed 3 nights, during the week, min traffic (typical hywy traffic into Leavenworth). Great weather, kayaks on property made for an enjoyable "water" time without feeling the freezing river temps. Loved sitting arrangement at firepit. Would do it again.

We really enjoyed our time at the lodge. It is very well appointed with everything you might need. Very nice inside and outside. The deck is fabulous with the outdoor tv and plenty of seating. We will definitely be visiting again next year.

We had a great time at this location. The house was bigger than I realized. The outside space it wonderful and the view cannot by beat. We saw the local bear, hawks, and jumping fish. The house was clean, but we did find some old garbage under the furniture. Great location!

Incredible outdoor area!
I would definitely stay here again. The outdoor space can't be beat. We saw an otter, a bald eagle and a bear while lounging in the front yard. It was 109 during our stay & the A/C was up to the task. I'd be leery of having young children so close to the river. A few minor complaints. No kitchen cabinets were cleared out to store groceries. No saran wrap, zip lock bag or aluminum foil. Not enough storage in the bedrooms, the master has no dresser, no closet is some rooms, & existing closets are too cluttered with extra bedding. The dryer works, but is sluggish. Apple maps doesn't work for this property, not sure about google maps.

Great setup for a family vacation
This place was just the perfect fit for our family. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other families. We only had one child age 4 and because it is on the water (which is very cold but able to kayak and paddle board for those experienced to not let the water carry you past the home) you need to be mindful of their whereabouts. The yard is fenced but not secure of any wandering children or pets.

Nice accommodations -- plenty of room for 4 adults + 1 mature dog. Great views in the canyon. Nice hot tub and deck right on the river. The well-stocked kitchen was nice and the fireplaces were great to have with the "lodge-like" decor. For the daily price, however, the inside needs more updating and a few extra amenities. There were no tissues anywhere & the toiletries must have been the cheapest available. Towels were worn & ragged and should have been washed with scent-free detergent. Mattresses were okay but not great -- again for the price paid per day I would have expected newer/better quality. The pictures on the website are deceiving; this property & lodge sit right next to a retail candy store, separated only by the driveway. It's tucked in back but it's not a remote property. First time using VRBO and the process was easy.

Our group really enjoyed our stay here. Nice location, close to town, beautiful view. Great to just hangout outside enjoy the hot tub or fire and grill. Host was very responsive during visit for anything we needed. Definitely would come stay again!
