“We had a lovely two night couples break at Kimbers Farm. The shepherds hut is so comfortable and just the right side of luxury rustic! Possibly the comfiest bed I’ve slept in away from home. “I enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful 2 nights stay at this well equipped hut. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, it even came with a Shepherd's crook.There was a lovely table outside to dine on, where I watched the sun set, unwinding with a glass of sparkling wine.Very clean and comfortable. Ann, the host was lovely and even picked me up in the lane as I arrived on foot.I thoroughly recommend.”

Our check-in was swift and friendly and the location, although rural, is a brilliant base to explore in and around Cheddar. "Hotel is quite new in comparison with other International brand hotels in that area. Comfortable bed, room nice and clean. Within walking distance to CBD and tourist area. However, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night around 1:30am and we learned the next day that it’s a fire drill. That’s totally ridiculous to me. I’ve travelled around the world in the past 50 yrs and never came across any hotel like this. The fire alarm woke all hotel guests without prior notice nor explanation on site. Guests including myself needed to run around to check out what’s happening. Hope they never ever do this again. We’re extremely tired after a whole day’s travelling and desperately needed a good night’s sleep. "
