"This place is fantastic. Clean, comfortable and perfect for our stay. The setup is great for a group with four bedrooms and a great common area. We didn't use the downstairs game room but that's a nice bonus too. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the views of the lake - especially while enjoying our morning coffee. Good communication from the owners. We'll definitely book this place again."

"The house was everything as advertised, very clean, VERY spacious and well stocked. Bedrooms were large, plenty of room for everyone. Chris and Vicki were there when we arrived to give us a quick tutorial for the boat and a quick run down of the property. During our stay I had a couple questions and Chris was very responsive. The property has something for everyone, including peace and quiet. Littleton is less than 10 minutes away and had a grocery store, a liquor store, some boutiques and a really cool brewery that I would recommend. The indoor shuffle board is addicting. The welcome gift from the owners was very impressive ( you’ll have to stay there find out what the gift is.) This is a great house for 20 people to stay comfortably. Everyone loved it. I would highly recommend staying at the Mac Daddy."

"We go to Lake Gaston every year for a relaxing getaway. This house was perfect for our family. Plenty of beds and my daughters never been in a kayak but got to experience it this time as the house came with a couple of them for guests to use. Clean and spacious. Thank you to the host for allowing us to stay at your Beautiful home, definitely recommend it for a big family getaway! "

"I came with my grandmother, who has some mobility limitations, and had a lovely time. The house being one level and not needing to take steps to get down to the dock was a plus and the main reason I chose this property so she could get around. The home itself is relatively secluded down a gravel path, which is nice. The interior design is well done. There are a few sliding doors throughout, so while noise and privacy wasn't a concern with just the two of us, that is something to be aware of if you want privacy or a quiet room and have more than two people staying. Because pets are allowed, there could potentially be remnants of pet hair, so if you have severe allergies, that may be something to be mindful of. If you only stay at the house, there are plenty of things to do. There's a few board games and cards provided (we didn't play any but they're there if you want to play). I took advantage of using the kayak, which was a lot of fun (life jackets are available too). There's definitely a lot of options for outdoor entertainment and no shortage of outdoor space. Be prepared to encounter a lot of spider webs (both indoors and outdoors) if there early in the season like we were and don't forget to pack repellent if you need it. Overall, I would stay here again."

The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it ideal for our family gathering. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities, and the peaceful lake setting made it even more special. We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a family-friendly getaway or a relaxing lakeside retreat."
