“This is an amazing property. The home is beautiful and sits on a quiet cove just off the main lake. The amenities were plentiful, including a new outdoor pool that we thoroughly enjoyed, games, floats, water toys and a large dock that easily accommodated our boat. The location is perfect - near restaurants and grocery stores. The host, Jenn, could not have been better. She was wonderful to work with, and we would highly recommend this home!!”

Everything was clean and in order, owner was quick to respond to anything we conveyed to them, and it was lovely being the only ones staying at the house at the time. “Perfect house for a group of 7 adults. Lots of comfy seating inside and out on the deck and dock. Well stocked with oil, spices, etc. Master bed was very comfortable. Other beds were OK. Dock area is small and not deep water. That didn't matter to us since we went in September. Wifi was very slow but we had 5 people trying to work so more our fault than the house. Overall, an excellent Lake Gaston rental. ”

“This property should be removed from Vrbo’s listings. As other reviews have stated, the rental is filthy, full of broken furniture/appliances, and has several unsafe areas. We spent the first day and a half of our stay, cleaning the place. It is clear that this property has not been inspected or maintained for cleanliness in a long time. This is not the result of one careless guest. This is complete neglect.The home has cobwebs, stuck on grease, dirt buildup, bugs, and mold in multiple areas.……

“What an amazing stay! The house was super comfy and so cute. So quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect getaway from hustle and bustle. We swam in the lake both at the house and also at Gaston day area. Ate at Suka sushi and it was fantastic! The owner was extremely responsive and checked on us at arrival. The owner also recommended some antique store and I got some sweet finds. Definitely a stay again kind of place!”
