Overall liked this property as this is my second visit. However, upon arriving at approximately 8:15pm, housekeeping was cleaning the room across the hall from us. This included vacuuming the room at this late hour. ing

Stay here!
The front desk staff and cleaning crew went above and beyond to accommodate us as our plans altered at the last moment. We also got a good recommendation of where to eat nearby. We stayed in the suite with our pup and would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Our event was actually near Baton Rouge but hotel ratings weren't the best there. This was totally worth the 30 min drive.

Neither thermostat or shower worked. When telling the front desk she looked at me as if I was crazy or didn’t know how to work it. Defiantly won’t be staying back at this hotel.

Location was excellent, staff on the otherhand was completely incompetent....they couldn't figure out how to check me in without double charges, and made me stand at the counter for over 20min while they discuss checking in other customers, and they didn't even know if my room was clean! Yes they discussed this in front of me....cummon!forreal! Get your act together, i was your only customer at the time...*sheesh*

Everything was great except the temperature of the room itself; had a hard time controlling the thermostat and ended up sleeping with a light jacket over my pajamas even though the weather outside was hot and humid....and this was in the month of July! Staff extremely pleasant and very friendly. Room was clean every single day of our three day stay. No room service but there is a diner located a short drive away; too far to walk due to weather being hot and humid. It would’ve been nice to have a swimming pool on the premises.

**NEED DOUBLE LOCKS ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOORS**
When we arrived they were having issues with the computer. The two ladies behind the counter were very friendly but couldn't get the computer to work. They had to call the mgr who told them to get our booking information and give us a room and ask us to come down in the morning and sign our paperwork. So we took the key and went to the room. The hotel had been newly remodeled and everything was pretty new but the floors and mirrors had not been cleaned. After we were settled in and went to bed (around 11:30-12:00) the room phone rang. We answered the phone and the night clerk said she needed credit card information. We gave here the security code on the back of the card but she said it wasn't right and asked for us to come down so she could see it. We informed her that we were already in bed and that the previous ladies said that we could handle the paperwork in the morning. She continued to ask that we come down but we refused as the mgr had already said we could comedown in the morning and we were already in bed. We were having this argument at midnight. After that incident we finally got to sleep but were awakened at 4:30am by someone opening the door to our room. The dog growled and I called out so they immediately closed the door. I mentioned it to the mgr the next morning and she said they were probably doing room checks. Since we were not in the system they did not know the room was occupied. Very high security risk not to mention a very good way to get bit or SHOT!!!!

A place to get some sleep
Needed a place close to the next stop on our road trip and Livonia was our only choice. The hotel was reasonably priced, quiet and perfectly suited for a night's sleep.

It was ok.
Hotel staff were so kind and friendly. Might not have stayed if not for that. Room was clean. Pillows were 12×12 smaller than couch pillows in a pillow case. I had requested a two queen bed room which was not what they had us in, she changed it immediately but the computers were so slow it took 30 minutes. It was a last minute trip for a funeral and there was only one other hotel which I would have slept in my truck before staying there, so not alot of choice. But the kindness of these workers made all the difference.

Will not stay here again
When we arrived it was raining. The lady at the desk was having issues with the computer and it took about 30+ mins before she gave us a room. When we opened the door there was already someone staying there. We went back down only to find they had given our room away. We had to wait another 30+ mins for her to find another room. We ended up staying in a suite with a queen bed and a pull out sofa. The bed was extremely uncomfortable not to mention having to share it with my mother. They did however discount the room. What concerns me most of all is being given access to a room that was already taken. Huge security factor! We made the best of it as we were there for a funeral. Will not stay here again!

The Hotel is difficult to get to coming from the north. It is on a busy road and there is no turn lane for the 1 entrance to the facility. If you miss it or there are cars behind you, then you must go out of your way to a light and make a U turn. There is no breakfast offered to guest and a small café at their sister hotel(with the same name) back down the road (don't go there!). There is a Truck Stop next door with a café but I was afraid to go over there as I saw nothing but truckers and their visitors. It is about 30 miles from Baton Rouge.
