Lovely house, light, airy, well equipped and right on the beach but still private. The terrace / pool area is stunning and the views from the terraces are beautiful.
It was kitted out for toddlers, cots, high chairs, stair gates etc. and glass gates around the terrace and a dismountable pool protector meant that we felt safe have our 1 year old around. The older kids who came with our friends were free to come and go to the beach and the town which is just a few minutes walk away.
The driveway is awkward and can only really take one car. Apparently the new owners are going to re-do it this winter to solve this problem.
The bar on the beach is great for an evening ice cream and cocktails treat.
Local restaurants are varied, some excellent, some awful, our favourite for traditional Spanish was Can' Trompe.
It is an easy walk to the Marina and several other calas but we rented a car and explored a bit further afield to Cala Mondrago in the national park and cala Santanyi. We also wen tot the Wednesday market at Santanyi town which had some lovely things but was hot and difficult to park.
