Amazing Beach Cottage
This is a great place for a small family or a group of friends to gather on the Marquette shore. The house itself is has modern updates but still keeps those beach cottage vibes. There is a nice mix of open spaces for the whole group to gather and niches for alone time. There is not a better location in Marquette, right on beach and bike trail with most of the town just a short walk away. The hosts were very professional and easy to work with.

This is the 2nd time we visited this property. We love the view from the kitchen, game room and picture window in the living room. The only shower i have had in a rental that stays warm. The beach access, especially this year, is a bonus! Even found beach glass this March. The location cant get better. We will be back for one more year at least.

Great getaway
Fantastic home with all the amenities you could need! We felt welcomed warmly with the lights being left on for us as well as a wonderful greeting on the chalkboard. And their welcome gift basket was an over the top touch we all enjoyed. I could see this spot being super busy in summer, but our stay off peak kept it quiet and feeling like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Awesome stay!

Another Dynamite Stay!
The beach house is our favorite place to stay when we visit our daughter at NMU. Greg and Kate continue to be incredibly attentive and gracious hosts! The location is perfect for those who love taking a walk on the beach or to their favorite coffee shop up on Third street. And we always look forward to watching the sunrise while sipping coffee in the kitchen (I wish I could bring those windows and that view home with me!).

Quick trip that felt like home!
We had debated about trying a VRBO, but were elated we did. The home was clean with beautiful views or Lake Superior. Sandwiched between downtown and campus it was perfect for us. We enjoyed just sitting and relaxing as well as the ne hobby of looking for sea glass. All in all a great experience provided by Greg and Kate. Thank you both. Hope to be back soon!

Lakeshore Love
Friends from the west coast came to visit and reminisce over college memories (55 years ago!), life journeys and all that happens in between. This home on the shore of Lake Superior offered gorgeous views of sunsets, quiet waves and sand, and inside was comfy and convenient in so many ways. Easy access to the bike path, downtown, restaurants and shopping, and the perfect place for our reunion. We loved it!

Everything you want is steps away!
The property is breathtaking! Stairs leading down to the beach, a park next door for kids, and a walking path to downtown makes everything in Marquette accessible. The stairs leading to upstairs bedrooms are a bit treachorous as it is an older home, so I would not suggest for those with poor balance/trouble walking. Otherwise, beds are very comfy, the kitchen views are amazing, and the fire pit is perfect. For any disc golfers, I highly recommend you check out the local disc golf courses they are phenomenal! The local restaurants also have good coffee, great beer, and even better food (Get the cajun Whitefish at Vierling)!

This was our 2nd stay in this lovely home! The location is more than perfect, it is right on the beach and very near downtown. There is a small market across the street. The house is full stocked with everything you need if you want to cook ou or just hang out. Definitely looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful spot on beautiful Lake Superior. Great sunrise and sunset. Fun to see the ore boats go by. Surprisingly not a real busy beach on weekdays. Excellent communication with owners and all the amenities of home. Plenty of beds and towels and dishes an pits and pans. Very clean and nicely decorated. Adults are children enjoyed all the games during the rainy days.

Best Place to stay in Marquette
The house has fantastic views of Lake Superior, the light house , big ships and the Oar Dock. There are numerous sitting areas inside the house, on the deck and in the backyard as well as beach from where you can enjoy the view. On a nice day you can sit at the picnic table enjoy a meal and look at the beach and light house. On a stormy day you can curl up by the gas fireplace and watch Lake Superior's powerful waves from the picture window. The bike/walking path is near by and you can easily walk into downtown and shop or eat a meal. The home is nicely decorated and clean. It is a place you can easly relax and feel at home. We love this place so much that this was our second visit.

Perfection!…once again!
This is our family’s favorite place to stay when we visit the Marquette area. The beach house has everything we want + need for a great vacation on Lake Superior. It provides beautiful views of the lake, is super cozy, and makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. We especially love having the lake just steps away…it’s such a treat being able to start + end each day with a beach walk! The East Side Experience Never Gets Old
This was our third time staying at the East Side Beach House during our younger kids' spring break and, true to form, the location continues to be equal parts relaxing and energizing. Two years ago, in mid-March Marquette was 70 and sunny and we walked barefoot on the beach. This year, we had gale-force winds and a major winter storm. We spent hours on the second floor watching the waves crash into, and quickly erode, the ice mounds along the beach. Lake Superior's fury amidst white-out conditions was an absolute delight to behold. Of course, it helps to do so from inside a snug, comfortable home whilst sipping the tasty coffee provided by our gracious hosts. We continue to appreciate the airy brightness of the kitchen, the coziness of the living room, the thoughtful selection of books to sample, and the walking distance proximity to many of our favorite places such as the Crib. The home was also an ideal place to host a game night for our NMU-attending kiddo and friends. If you're looking for a place to immediately feel at home while on vacation, don't hesitate. This place is magical.

This is the first house I have taken my mother to that she was pleased with. So pleased, in fact, that we have already rebooked for next year. The views are breathtaking and the proximity to town is soooo convenient. There is this little store across the street that EVERYTHING is from local farmers and businesses. The house was super clean and had HOT water for the shower for the whole shower. The beds are very comfortable. The owners left a welcome basket with some local goodies. If you ha e any questions they are there to help. I cant wait to go back!!!

Marquette Weekend Friends Getaway
This was the perfect home for a winter weekend in Marquette with a group of friends. Location is absolutely beautiful on the beach near the lighthouse, and an easy walk into town for food and brews. This is my new favorite Marquette vrbo, it will be the first I think of with any future stays with family or a group of friends. Thank you Greg and Katie!
