I am sorry to hear this. We have a gated lot and security after hours. We normally do not have anything like this happen. I know crime is up do to the holidays and we do what we can to prevent it. This is unfortunate and I know you filed a police report. I would be happy to learn any new information of this crime.

If you need a bed next to the airport and don’t care about anything else, this will work. The rooms weren’t offensive and the water pressure was good. But you could do a lot better too. The location is terrible: it’s on the corner of two busy highways and right under the final approach for the FedEx runway. I tried to get to bed early for an early flight in the morning, but the noise was unbearable. The front desk and entire property is set up as if unsavory characters regularly frequent this place. The room wasn’t in the best shape, and made you only want to touch things you had to. Again, the price is right. But I’d recommending spending just a bit more for a lot more comfort.

The rooms were clean. Hotel is located in the hood. I requested a kitchenette. They did not have any dishes, or coffee makers in the room. No pots or pans, and did not serve breakfast.

The room smelled like pee!
When I review this hotel on Hotels.com the rating was 5.6. Not true at all! The room had a stench of urine that would not to away! I feel that the air conditioner filter needed to be changed and that's why the odor would go away. I bought air fresheners and it still didn't work. Housekeeping didnt' want to give me any extra wash clothes and the TV wasn't working when we arrived, so someone from management had to come fix it.

The people hanging around and staying there were missing teeth, begging for money, lingering in the halls, blocking the elavators. The room had a funky smell, no lamp on the night stand, linolium floors with a wood look. It was gross and scary when i got back there at 1 in the morning. I grabbed my bags and drove for an hour till i couldn't stay awake. Pulled over and slept in my car. I would never ever go back there. Nor would i reccomend it to any female traveling alone.

Better than expected
The staff was great. This property houses many long-term residents, but don't be swayed by that. They have tough rules for occupancy and things were amazingly quiet for my entire week long stay. Parking has a security attendant at night which was a nice surprise.

For the price I got on short notice, I cannot really complain. the area of town is definitely less than desirable, but they do have security onsite. I do not like there is not front desk staff 24/7. only hotel emergency staff which just check you in and out. so, there are no real "guest services" on the weekend.

Not impressed. Service was slow, area was shady. Not a bad price- but you get what you pay for. Didn't feel as if my belongings were safe if room was unattended.

REALLY BAD AREA
Really bad area.Cops there every night.You do not go out at night.The 4th floor smells like nothing but Weed all day all night.Had to kill a few roaches in 26 day stay.

When arriving I didn't feel safe. There was a security guy at the entrance, but however going into the lobby there we're men standing around the door way. The room was suppose to be non smoking but the room was very smoky as well as the hall ways. The hallway was so cloudy from all the weed and cigarette smoking.We had to put a blanket at the bottom of the door to keep the smoke out. The room had kitchenette but no cookware. Not enough towels or wash cloths. Upon leaving the next day there was no one to check us out I had to call a 500 number from the wall phone to only be told to leave key cards in the room or there will be a $10 fee. This hotel looks as if it's been rented out to families as apartments instead. I will never stay here again.

It's an okay hotel
Hotel room is pretty nice you have everything you need inside but the bed is only a full size bed so kind of small for two people. Overall it's an okay place to stay

A no frills place to stay, clean, close to the airport, no hair dryer or shampoo, overall better than most in Memphis for the money

we got to the room and the stove had no stove eyes. The bathroom had no toilet paper and couldn't get front desk to answer. There was no tv remote and TV wouldn't even come on by pushing button on TV. Also heard gunshots when we were checked in.
I am sorry to hear of your experience. We follow a clean and safe program where rooms are cleaned by a certified employee and inspected by a manager before renting. There was obviously a mistake on our part and we would definitely have tried to accommodate you in any way possible. We have an after hours line available when the office is closed so someone is always there to assist. This is a pretty high industrial area, hopefully what you heard could have resembled gunshots. The rooms where very clean but I didn't have access to any cookware or an iron. I understand that this is an extended stay hotel but service sucks! Charged me one thing and my card statement was charged again. Never will i stay there again.

Better than expected, but need cleaning/lighting
Just needed basic accomodations for an overnight stay. Arrived after the desk closed, but was checked in fairly quickly by the on-call person (there's a phone on the wall in the desk area). It definitely has the potential to offer a better experience, so here are the negatives of my stay-The room wasn't cleaned properly (had the smell of stale food in the room though the fridge was clean). Simply cleaning the room (steam vaccum of the carpet, thorough wipedown of counters/trash bins/washroom & mopping of the tiled common area & bathroom) would've earned a better rating from me. A HUGE negative was the inadequate parking lot lighting anywhere away from the entrance/front entryway-I wouldn't have felt comfortable parked anywhere but the front where I parked, even with the armed guard patrolling the area. I enjoyed a quiet stay-There weren't people hanging around as a previous review stated & also enjoyed good sound isolation from the planes coming in. Keep in mind, people stay here weekly/have been there for awhile (and are friendly working-class folks), so it's more or less an apartment complex. For basic accomodations/need a room on short notice, the price is fair, but for people checking this place out who aren't comfortable being in an 'urban' area or on the airport's landing path, this isn't for you. I give it an overall '3' out of '5' because I expected a worse experience from the previous reviews here. Note to management-Clean your rooms thoroughly for a better rating

Ok but...
Hotel was good, but the location was super sketchy. Lots of people drinking in the parking lot. Also very close to an airport so you hear planes landing all night, and the bed was simply horrible. Room was super clean though.

Upon arrival, six police cars were in the parking lot. Several officers were coming in and out of the building. The employee who checked me in was behind shatterproof glass. Shampoo and other incidentals cost $1.50 each. The bed was a roll away. The room was clean but the environment was suspect.

Anything you need during you stay can be requested and we will do our very best to get you what you need. I am sorry for the police activity, our hotel is normally very quiet. We take extra steps to ensure safety including gated with night security. We would love to have an open office window however were required to install for safety.
