“The cottage was clean and nicely appointed. Tom takes great care to insure the comfort of his guests. It truly felt like home.”

“Good: rooms were big and airy. Bad: paid deposit at time of booking and the other half was supposed to be paid at stay but the 2nd payment was charged to my credit card a month before actual stay. Had 2 pull out couches, 1 the frame was broken and the other was uncomfortable ”

“We were very disappointed, as it did not match the pictures. Property was unkempt and overgrown with weeds. The outhouse had cobwebs and was not very clean. The cottage was a bit rundown, and poorly supplied. There were no paper towels or tissues, and only 2 little kitchen towels and 1 washcloth, so it was difficult to maintain any decent hygiene, or even wash the dishes. If you are considering this place, bring towels and all your own supplies. ”

“Beautiful setting and quiet neighborhood. The building seems to lack insulation against noise from the upstairs apartment. We could hear people peeing in the toilet above the bedrooms, every step they took and doors closing. When the toilets flush or water runs there’s also a loud pump. The walls inside the apartment are thin as well. So if noise is an issue for you to get a good night sleep this probably isn’t a good place to stay. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. ”
