"We were thankful to be able to get this property for 1 night and on short notice. Rooms were clean and bed was comfy. We appreciated the refrigerator that had a good sized freezer to put our ice packs in. The view would have been beautiful if it had t been pouring rain. We enjoyed watching the eagles flying past."

"Some how I ended up with this room, with a balcony. I never planned on this, I purchased a pair of Cl companion 8x30 binoculars to take somewhere and I ended up here, with a balcony, overlooking Kachemak Bay. They shared how they kept up the grounds for “US” I realized what water I use, goes 20 yards. It’s a fishing lodge. That’s before you fish. You’re in a pristine environment that eagles use to hunt. It’s a beautiful and comfortable place however you could possibly see it, as you settle in, and fish. I’m already making my plans to stay, Alaska is where I’m actually from and this is what I got."

"Cabin was clean. Dog friendly. Host had a dog and human snack. Really nice. Nice deck but rained most of the time would have been fun to use. Kitchen was functional and the fridge was good. ( not a full size, but good size) Overall the place was nice and comfy. A couple of suggestions would be a shower mat or some non-stick. Maybe a small shelf or something for the bathroom for toiletries. Acess road was a bit rough but passable. Location is a ways out of town but the view is nice when clear."

"Very nice and warm cabin, was very clean. The shared bathhouse and kitchen is just on the other side of ours for few feet’s away. There is toilet and sink inside the cabin which is very convenient. Glen and Wendy are also very welcoming. High recommend on the way to Homer!"
