Very friendly hosts who are multilingual, my Japanese isn't very good but the staff was able to communicate in English and help me find tickets that I ordered online. Our plane was also late coming in but we were able to arrange self check-in for when we arrived and sorted out the details in the morning. Thank you again!

Shiki-san (I hope spelling is okay) and Manager Olivier-san are very kind and professional people. Shiki-san was genuinely friendly and helpful all the time. I enjoyed meeting all the other staff members as well. Dormitory rooms are fine if you are traveling for a long time and you can meet fellow travelers to exhange information and get inspired. But, their private rooms are highly recommended. Unfortunately there are some new changes for the first time. They used to have free parking and 1-week free luggage storage, which were extremely useful for many guests. Which actually encouraged future stays. They will not have those incentives any more.

Room was clean, spacious and with a nice view. Checked in on nye and had a joyful countdown with them. Thanks for the pleasant stay. Will definitely stay again if i am to go back okinawa in the future for water activities.

Highly recommended.Enjoyable stay
One of the best hostel I ever stay. The environment is so clean and new. Staff are very friendly. I am lucky to join their monthly party which is lovely. The sleeping environment is good, have a good sleep during my stay. Definitely worth it and highly recommended.

The hotel is really nice, cozy bedroom with a view of the sea and sofa in the room. safe for using pin to enter to the floor. really closed to fish market (recommended) and Lawson not too far to city center. recommended!! 🐳

Very good hostel locates near Tomari port. A bit away from the centre of Naha but everything is walkable and buses are available. Has a good lounge area with coffee machine, laundry, cooking facilities and the staff are always around to help out. Beds are a bit difficult to get in and out but otherwise they are comfortable if not a bit basic. Overall a very nice place is my place.

Friendly stuff, didn't really use the common space but looks the atmosphere there is chill and relax. the only disadvantage i'd say is no lift especially when you stay at level 3 and you come with heavy luggage

The counter staff - Askey and Elaine are very helpful and rendered great service! Ideal location if you are planning for a trip to go island , the Tomari port is only 5mins away.

Nice hostel very close to the port
We stayed in a private double room at My Place only for a night after coming back from a smaller island by ferry. Its location close to the port was really convenient. The hostel is new or has been recently renovated. We were surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room and shared amenities. Definitely a great place to stay if you’re coming back from other islands or leaving early to take a ferry.

Loved it!
I really loved it - the room was a bit small but very comfortable and clean. The bathroom has all we need and the reception was very helpful and even had a half day snorkeling activity which was really amazing and worth every penny. The kitchen can get a bit crammed but there is all the amenities and also great hammocks!!

Great value next to the ferry port
Nice newly decorated and clean bedroom and shared bathroom. The bedroom was big - great for our big backpacks. There was a large kitchen and common area in another building - looked nice but we didn't use it. Perfect location for catching a ferry the next morning.

The twin room with harbor view looks new and clean. Worth the price. Very near fish market which is just walking distance. But you will need to rent a car to reach other place/town more easily.

The best hostel so far in Naha
My Place is very well localized, close to Tomari Port and easy to go to Zamami, Aka and Tokashiki Islands. I had stayed in the others hostels around Naha, some even cheaper but they aren't worth. My Place is organized, clean, staffs are sweet, so, you don't need to be worry about to stay and rest (a room has 3 bunk beds, other places I stayed has 20 to 30 bunk beds side by side for all the whole floor).

A place to sleep when nothing else is available. English speakers were helpful. But would rather stay in a regular hotel.

Great place to stay for the easy-going type
Great location! Right by the Tomari Port and just a little less than a 15 minute walk from Miebashi Station on the Yui Rail. If you're checking in later than 10pm, make sure to contact them and let them know in order for you to have access to your room! I was however unable to contact them but was fortunate enough to have my friend, who had booked a stay at My Place for the weekend before me, inform the manager and staff for me. I had booked a single bunk bed of 6 in a shared room with females. in the shared room is a full washroom with a shower. Very convenient. There is a common area which is shared amongst all other travelers staying at My Place. The common area consists of several seating options, a kitchen, a fridge, vending machines, and separate male and female washrooms with showers each for those who are wanting to shower late night. The sheets provided were clean, the bunk bed mattress was thin but didn't bother me. My Place worked well for me because I was traveling alone and it had everything I needed. At a cost you can rent towels, and use the washing machine and dryer for laundry. The only downside I'd like to mention is that you have to understand that sharing a room with possibly 5 other strangers exposed you to many things. Everybody checks in and out at different times of the day; washroom time should be shared and respected; be aware of your personal belongings (small lockers are provided but it might not fit your suitcase).

Good for some sleep
First time at a guesthouse it was better than expected. But the conditions in the toilet/bathroom/shower area needs a lot of improving .

Be advised that My Place is a hostel and not a hotel. You will be sharing a room. With that in mind, you can meet people from around the world and make new, interesting friends.

Nice hostel, but a bit too "cozy"
I was not aware that the 6 bed room was some kind of "capsule hotel". I really needed a bigger place to put my stuff, and particularly a place to hang wet laundry. The internet was quite shaky too. Saying that, the place was clean and pleasent, and the common room is really nice.
