"It was not where it was listed but it was a good spot just had one set of bunks so one adult slept on the top. It was in the garment district near the empire state building. There was one bedroom with a double and the main part of the apartment had the other double with the bunk beds. The kitchen was good and stocked with basic dishes. "I paid extra for a room with a view. The room I is faced the back of another building and I was told anything above the twentieth floor is considered a view of the city. This is clearly false advertisement and they did not offer me a refund or any other accommodation when I complained. The people at the front desk were not friendly or helpful. The rooms were small with little ventilation and the breakfast was not good. The paint on the bathroom door was peeling off like there had been water damage, the floor was gritty and the desk was not wiped down well. The highlight was the housekeeping staff who were always friendly and accommodating."

"The location of this hotel was excellent, close to most major sites and with restaurants and stores nearby. The room was relatively clean but in need of updating and upkeep. The mattress was uncomfortable and seemed old because it had springs. The sheets, pillows and blanket were not good quality. Overall the hotel was adequate but hasn’t been maintained well. The furniture in the lobby was worn and uncomfortable. But the location made it very convenient."

"All the major characteristics were excellent or very good. Restaurant was especially convenient and reasonably priced. Staff friendly and welcoming, especially my maid who made a point of cleaning my room during the hour I spent at breakfast. And, you can’t beat the midtown Manhattan location, particularly if you’re traveling by train."

"Perfect location for proximity to Broadway theatres! Went on re-opening day and there was a back-up during check-in (staff was new to the system). I am the type of person to notice details and the remodel seems surface level, I obviously didn't see the building when they began so I can't say how much has been done. In the, quite small, bathroom, there was no fan, the tub shower had an un-even floor surface, the drain didn't really work all that well and the water pressure, while adjustable, went from a heavy trickle to a mid-pressure spray. Sink was nice with some room to put your things around it and there was a shelf. Lighting in the bathroom was mid - only light was from the mirror. The green paint throughout the room wasn't perfect (looked like a lot of layers). The room was sparkling clean, the new bed was comfortable, night stands had good plug options, carpet was nice, and towels were fluffy. We were on the 25th floor and the noise from the area was still noticeable. For NYC, I guess the room size was ok, it did feel small, and if you had multiple large luggages it will be tight - there is storage space under the bed for a suitcase on either side. The TV is on an awkward wall next to the bed vs at the foot of the bed - but we didn't watch TV. The two elevators were slow to get to you either in the lobby or at your floor. It seemed like there were more elevators available but they weren't working at the time. The cafe was nice. After all that, I would stay here again."
