"Owner was lovely and helped with slow WiFi, TV and uncomfortable sofa. This villa isn’t detached as advertised and requires significant upgrading but apart from these issues it was a lovely quiet, remote place to relax."

"This is such a wonderful property in a truly beautiful location. The photos of the property give a true depiction of the grounds, the outdoor sitting area is perfect for enjoying a meal looking over the stunning Mountain View . The pool area is perfect for relaxing after enjoying days out around the local and farther area. The local villages are beautiful. The welcome pack was well thought out, with milk, bread, butter, eggs, pasta ragu sauce, fruit and herbs. Along side the red wine, cold beers and water. The fresh cut flowers dotted around the property was a lovely touch. Susan, Andrew & Molly were fabulous hosts, checking everything was ok on arrival and only a message click away for any queries about the local area.Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful accomodation "

"What a find! We went as a large family group, so to have separate apartments for each individual family worked out perfectly for us. Their accommodation was well equipped immaculately clean and comfortable.Some of our part of a clean cyclist, so to any cyclist it’s an absolute Mecca, but you have to like hills! "

"This is an excellent holiday property. You climb up to it via hairpin bends so take your time and just let the locals pass you in thier Fiat Pandas. The house is a few hunded metres out of village and such a tranquil spot. I almost dont want to give a god review to stop this place becoming to booked up for my next visit but that would be selfish. On the first morning when you throw open the french doors and sit and take in the views you will know you made the right choice. The hosts pop along each morning and clean the pool for you. We used to sunbathe in or by the pool until afterlunch then go and exploreintbe afternoon. We went through the mountains to the coast and beach watching the sun go down whilst standing on the pier. Then drove to lucca for supper. One afternoon we visited pisa and paid for parking near to the tower. One afternoon we did bagni de lucca and barga We also watched the sun go down and casting wonderful sun light over the mountain and trees at lake gramalazzo before eating in a taverna. We walked up to the fortess and then recovered whilst drinking lovelly cold drinks and trying to work out how some one drove thier Fiat panda up a parked outside the gates. In summary as long as you are confident driving on the wrong side of the road dont hesitate and book this house you will not be dissapointed. "
