We were a comfortable driving distance from the ferry to Mackinac Island, beaches, Headlands International Dark Sky, MacGulpin Lighthouse and shopping at Mackinaw City. Mike is a great host, available if we needed something. We would highly recommend a stay at this cabin.”

“ Right on beautiful Lake Paradise with dock and screened in porch. Very quaint and had everything we needed. Will return as soon as we can. Great food across the street at Clyde's Place and just down the street at Harbor Light's Grill. Both in walking distance. A little peace of paradise.”

“This property doesn't have direct lake access, but it is nearby lots of quaint beach heads and ferries to the island. Reasonable amenities, reasonable hosts that aren't weirdos, very quiet area. Beds were absurdly comfortable. Everybody slept great!”

“Lots of space to spread out, clean and peaceful. The bugs were really bad and the grass was overgrown so we weren’t able to enjoy the outside space.”

“The property and cabin was perfect for us as a home base for going to Mackinac Island- We loved the location next to Carp Lake, as well as the friendly managers who came by to drop off our sheets! We overall had a great time.”

“Met our needs for location. Could use more kitchen supplies example strainer for noodles as this is an easy meal to prepare. The back room would not warm up with door shut and shaking and rumbling all night long from heater hooked on hitch of house. Very hard sleeping but not sure in summer if this would be the same with air. Overall could lower price for late fall as there were vacancy all over mackinaw city for next time!!”
