While we were disappointed we weren't able to fully enjoy Lake Lure (due to the recovery from Helene), we were happy to come visit the area and support the local businesses while they work to rebuild. The property was convenient to many attractions and activities and Bob is an A host."
"This lodge is so comfortable, clean and renovated. The owners have provided everything that other hotels do not such as wine glasses and corkscrew, full length mirror and magnified mirror, overhead shower that’s also a jet spray, small refrigerator, and access to kitchen with homemade cookies, tea, coffee and candy. The grounds are charming with lots of spices for just relaxing. Our bed was very comfortable and room renovated and very clean. "

"Great classic lake house tucked away in a cove with views of the main lake. Will be great again when the work in the lake is finished and water levels restored. Great house and great location. "
"We only stayed one night, but we could see a weekend or longer. Great place in the mountains, beautiful house with great views. The kids loved the pool, game room and theater. The hosts are great with communicating prior and during the trip if needed. I would definitely recommend a stay here. 10 minute drive to town if needed."

"This home will most definitely be a repeat location. From initial booking all the way to departure the communication was amazing and the listing was exactly as described. So close to everything but feels far away. We sat on the porch each night and watch the storms come across the mountain. How relaxing. If I could give 10 stars I would! "

The kitchen was well equipped, and a sufficient amount of linens were available. Coffee on the deck in the mornings was a delight! We plan to book this property again. "

"Great property, best supplied/equipped I’ve ever seen, multiple living/gathering areas, clean and tidy inside. We were 6 60 golfers that enjoyed the property immensely. The area is still struggling to recover from Helene but Kieth and Ali are on the top of their game! Highly recommend!"

"We had a small family gathering--parents, 3 sons and their families. A lovely location. Driveway is a bit steep but house is great. Many of the area activities are closed at the moment because of the destruction of Hurricane Helene but still plenty to do."
"Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "

"We traveled as 4 adults and 2 dogs. The home was spacious and lovely. The decks were private under the canopy of trees on the property. The walkway to the boathouse was easy to maneuver. Every toy imaginable for our use in the boathouse. The kitchen is a gathering place for us. It was stocked with anything and everything we needed plus some. The big dining room table was perfect for playing games at night. Thank you for a great place to stay on our vacation! "

"This was a great location for our 2024 summer family trip before the kids went back to school. House was exactly as described. Grills were a nice added feature for us to grill a few burgers after relaxing on the lake all day. The kids enjoyed kayaking and floating on the lake. Not too far from shops and restaurants. Also was able to see a mama bear and her cup in the road a few houses down."
