There were plenty of flashlights for everyone when the power went out after a tree fell and took out the lines—so thoughtful! Wayne was an awesome host and responded super quickly to any questions we had. We're already looking forward to coming back in the future!"

"Great views from the kitchen desk and the boat house deck, with fenced area from the driveway to the lake. This was perfect for the two dogs to enjoy the fresh area. Overall great cabin vibe. No laundry….but with everything else being great it was overlooked. "

"We stayed at a cabin on top of Hickory Nut Lake in Lake Lure during the fall, and the place was beautiful. The view of the lake surrounded by all the colorful trees looked like a painting — especially in the morning and evening. It was peaceful, quiet, and a great spot to relax with family and friends.The cabin was very clean and well maintained. Aaron, the host, was excellent — he responded quickly whenever we needed something and was very helpful throughout our stay.We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to visit again. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a calm and scenic getaway."
