“We stayed there recently and we absolutely loved the pool and the hot tub. Shaun and Jody are amazing hosts. Our cabin as one of the cabins that isn’t quite remodeled yet but it’s in great condition and was big enough for an entire family ! It was spotless and the bed was comfortable. My only wish list was to have a mountain view but for the price I’d definitely stay there again.
We loved how close we were to the lake and Chimney Rock. Great place to relax and breathe in the fresh air.”

“The information about the internet connection provided by Vrbo was incorrect. Fortunately, there was a sheet of paper in the cabin with correct information. The bed was very soft--so soft that it was hard to even sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off. The access information provided by Vrbo was incorrect--there was no place to enter the access code. Fortunately, the cabin was unlocked and there were keys on the kitchen counter. It is a delightful little cabin which served us well.”

“The condo was just as expected. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed for a short stay. The amenities at Rumbling Bald were excellent. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to rain and winds from Hurricane Isaias and a mandatory evacuation by the area medical management team.”
