We saw deer every morning and enjoyed the beautiful sunrises. Dinner at Shakespeare’s Restaurant was excellent and such a unique experience.”

“The Creekside Cabin worked pretty well for 2 retired couples. King bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Loved that they used a closet space for a place to put your suitcases and belongings. Queen bedroom has a bit of a walk in the night to the other small bathroom. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We did not use the bunkroom that is off the kitchen, it's small but would be fine especially for kids. Livingroom, kitchen, sunroom are all very nice areas. Outdoor area reminded me of a tropical forest...

“Our stay was perfect!! The house was stocked with everything. The best part was we could sit in the living room, which is very cozy, and see the lake. Perfect spot for a beautiful sunset. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset when we were there. The to a small beach area is another plus. Now for the owner Stacey, she was very nice and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. My friend and I are clean freaks and the house was SPOTLESS! Only downside was check out time is 10 am. We felt rushed....

“Check-in was a cinch! I called the phone # I was given 15 minutes before I arrived and our host’s husband met me with a great welcome. I was meeting a friend for the weekend after 23 years and this quiet, secluded home was perfect. The view from the deck, where we ate our dinner the first night, was amazing! It rained the next morning and unfortunately, because the TV was an older model, with the bad weather we lost signal. An upgrade to a Smart TV would be nice so we could have signed into...

“The A-frame house in Farmington is located so close to Nemacolin you feel apart of resort. The cabin is cozy and super well stocked. Five females fared well sharing the kitchen, bedrooms and two baths. The outside property was beautiful! Has a grill, fire pit, fishing rods and plenty of seats. Nice stay!”

“It was cold early April. At night around 29 degrees, but up to 65 in the sunny afternoon. We were two couples and a dad with an 11 year old, which was an awkward fit for the space. The 11 year old was very happy with the small porch room with the day bed. The 56 year old dad tolerated the small upstairs room that was the gateway to the huge attic bedroom, where I and my partner slept. “Loved the quiet. Close enough to Ohiopyle to do whatever we wanted, but felt like we were coming home to our own little spot in the country. Deer and Turkey in the field, birds calling, and really couldn’t even hear cars. Sunset was gorgeous from the top of the hill. Communication with the property manager/owner was seamless. Very helpful and super friendly.”

“Good, central spot to explore the parks and trails in the area. House was very clean and very comfortable. The two upstairs bedrooms are reached by a steep set of stairs (with a handrail) and have low ceilings (the eaves). Not an issue for us but might be difficult for some.”

“I had a peaceful retreat weekend at Spring House. The cabin was just as pictured on Vrbo. The picture windows in the dining room have clear views of the woods and the stream. I walked onto the deck to listen to the stream and look up at the trees, even though it was chilly outside. The cabin inside was warm and cozy. I would definitely stay in the cabin again in the future when I need quiet time away. It is also a short drive to Fallingwater, and I enjoyed a guided tour of the UNESCO world...
