"Perfect place for a quick stop on our much longer trip for some lovely fishing on the lake, which included a rainbow, and a wonderful soak in the hot tub. Hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. Definitely wish we could’ve stayed longer! I’ve already recommended the listing to others!"

She communicates very well with her guests and is extremely responsive to any issue that may arise (coffee maker quit working one morning and she had a replacement to us before noon).I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for quiet, peaceful and restful stay in Mentone. "First time staying in Alabama. We rent vacation houses many times per year and I can say our stay here was wonderful. It is close to the road, there is definitely road noise, but it didn't matter, the house and the view made you forget the noise. The bed was beyond comfortable! We lost power one night (the entire area, not a house issue). I messaged the host and received a response within minutes (at 9:30 pm). She called the power company and it was back on within 30 minutes. We also requested an extra night stay, which we were so glad we did. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay!!"
