It was a low-rent hotel. Not clean. Noisy. Too far from my destination. They did gladly give me back 2 days of rent. So only stayed 1 night instead of 3.

I really dislike leaving a negative review, but this was one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. We knew it wasn’t going to be a five star hotel. We just needed a clean , quiet place to sleep for a few hours. We booked this hotel based on everyone else’s reviews, while on the road. My husband and I checked in a little after 11 PM and we left by 3 o’clock in the morning. The person checking us in was very nice and accommodating. They gave us a ground floor room due to my husband having a prosthetic leg. The room was very clean, but the smell was horrible. We tried to sleep and not think about it, but it was just too overwhelming. It was room 104. I couldn’t breathe, it smelled like mold. Because we got in so late we just decided to get out of there and head home, instead of attempting to change rooms. They also required a $50 deposit upon check-in which I gave them a credit card for. It took me two phone calls and 2 1/2 weeks to get my deposit refunded to my card. During the second call, they asked me if I had left a review on Expedia saying I didn’t get my deposit back lol I told them no I hadn’t left a review yet. I was waiting to see if I got my deposit back before I did, so here I am now. So just a heads up watch out for that. Maybe the other rooms are better? I have no idea, but just know if you have an aversion to strong mold or musty smells don’t stay in room 104.
