4/5 - Good
Progreso is nice. The hotel I stayed at ruined it.

Staff was very nice. Little language barrier nothing Google Translate can’t fix. You can hear everything from the room not the worst thing. Hot water was a little tricky but got it figured out. Good view from room with balcony. Need room with balcony.

The room was clean with air conditioning. It is close to the beach and the hotel has designated chairs on the beach. Also there is a pool/patio area with a view of the beach. Easy access to excellent restaurants including the Scappata restaurant downstairs. Delicious food and excellent service. If ...

Walking distance to the quiet beach. Condo is spacious and neighborhood is quiet. Near by town is Chelem 10 min drive. Owners are very nice.

It was beautiful
Beautiful white sand beach. Friendly people.
Better go before it turns in to another Cancun. There are cruise ship arrivals almost every day at the pier but it was still pretty low key compared to Cancun, Cozumel. Not commercialized like those cities yet.
The only thing we struggled with slightly was the wifi in our room only worked near the door. I have to admit, the disconnect from our phones made for a more personal experience.
Interesting array of how old meets new.
