I went with my mother and son. My son has peanut allergy, so I wasn’t sure how that was going to play out in terms of food safety for him. However upon my arrival I explained the guest services my son’s condition. They right away handed me a card that explained that his condition. During meal time I showed the card to the manager of restaurant I was at and they helped with the food option he had form the menu or buffet. This was extremely helpful and made our trip very stress free. I am so glad I chose Majestic resort for my trip and I hope to do so in the future. Thank you to restaurant managers, chef at the buffet restaurant and services for their attention to detail and going above and beyond with respect to my son’s food allergy!!!!

Overall the resort was nice and clean. It would be beneficial to be able to use facilities at the other Majestic and not be restricted and I would have liked more dining options which could have been possible if we were able to go to the other hotels. Food was good but I would not say great - there were variety of options but felt like it was the same food each day. Service people were nice but slow More options to do water sports without paying so much Would recommend this hotel

A very nice relaxing vacation over all . We asked for a quiet room and we got in the middle of the building. The same distance from the beach area and the main building . The room was comfortable but could use a little renovation. The shower was tricky to make it work but we learnt . The chamber maids are very good cleaning the room once you leave a couple of dollars $2 in the roo in the morning for them each day . I needed a better pillow and told the a person in guest services and with in half hour two great pillows were delivered. The massage at the spa for which I got $25 off was not good at all . I had this girl Carmen . It was rough even as I asked for relaxing massage. On the beach I got a leg massage that was so much better . The life music was great at outside bar and good shows . The food was good but you have ask for meats medium rare . Because they over cook it . The Gurmant restaurant and Japanese were great . Main buffet by main building is amazing for DR standards. Lots of options from fish and lots of salads . Fruits and fresh squeezed juices. Over all great vacation !

Overall an amazing place to stay. Servers from the swim up bars Rual I think was his name was awesome and fun:) There where some language barriers when ordering food in some places(Mexican restaurant) Wrong food and drinks multiple times but expected. Very smooth checking in and out. The people over all were very pleasant and helpful. Would stay again.

Great place to stay with great hospitality! There’s lots to do on the premises as well. Only complaint would be that the knick knacks / gifts are stupid expensive compared to other countries I’ve been to. Hope you have deep pockets if you want to bring gifts back

Let's start with all the good things, Bavaro beach is great, the Majestics stretch was clean and the chairs, shade and beach bar were all exceptionally good. The entire grounds of the majestic colonial are immaculate and the maint staffs grounds crews do an excellent job. The Colonial club room we had was extremely well maintained, everything worked and was up to date. It was a large room with king bed and sofa and jacuzzi. View of the pool and gardens was picture perfect. The beach restaurant has a wonderful view with breeze most days the other restaurants were all clean and air conditioned. We did the club level which gets access to adults only pools and areas on the beach which were both nice. So to set expectations this was our 14th trip to the dr and our 5th resort, so we do have a knowledge base of the resorts. This was solidly in the top 3 more of a tie with the other 2nd place resort and we would readily return for a 2nd visit here, but there are a couple nit-picks 1. The club check in process was in a separate room with dedicated staff and took over an hour. People that went to the front desk were done in 15 mins so need to work that process out. 2. We never saw or met our butler Luckly our previous DR resort knowledge figured out what we needed. Our only actual minor dislike was the food. The buffets were ok but just that ok long lines for served items. The ala cart restaurants were mediocre in comparison to other resorts. Well worth it for the price.

We love the way the resort is laid out, with the pool winding through. It helps spread people out and avoid really busy areas. You can easily find many quiet spots to sit by the pool. The food is amazing. We especially loved the steakhouse.

My stay at Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, Jesus and Daniel at the front desk provided exceptional service, making check-in a breeze and ensuring all my needs were met throughout my stay. Such a two fun souls made me feel like I'm home. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful grounds and pristine beaches. The adult section offers a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The bar staff, particularly Delania, was a rockstar, mixing up delicious cocktails with a smile and adding to the overall wonderful experience. I kept going to the same bar and beach just because of her. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the resort's many amenities. The restaurants offered a variety of delicious cuisine, catering to every palate. Jacob, our dedicated butler at Majestic Colonial, went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met with a smile. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay truly extraordinary. Overall, I highly recommend Majestic Colonial for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway in Punta Cana. Thanks to the amazing staff JESUS, DANIEL, DELANIA AND JACOB and stunning surroundings, my stay was truly unforgettable and made me come back again!!!

The staff was awesome and the grounds are beautiful. The property is dated and could use some updating. Check in was not the greatest. Our trip had been booked for months and when we arrived we were told they didn’t have a room available for us. Instead of upgrading us for the week we were transferred to a sister hotel for the single night and then had to interrupt our day the next day to move back to our original hotel that was booked. Huge inconvenience that should never have happened. We should have been transferred to the other hotel for the entire week or they should have made our room available.

The property has an easy access to the beach and the pool of course. It is very convenient. What I didn't like was the dirty dishes outside the guests door when ordering room service. Left over foods will attract critters such as mice, rats and roaches. Already in our room, we found a live roach running in the toilet.

To begin with, the staff right off the bat didn’t seem like they were that helpful. No one explained us anything or showed us where anything was. They just handed us a map and told us to find our way. They never showed us the restaurants or told us the timings. They sent us to our room saying our luggage was there but we had to wait 45 min for our luggage to show. We had a 6 month old baby with us and I had to change her clothes which were in that luggage. The hotel room itself smelled like mold. It was dusty and had rust on the sink and tub. The toilet seat was broken. Literally anything we touched (the flush, the cabinet, etc) would break or fall apart. The biggest issue we had was the food. The food was tasteless and if you are vegetarian or vegan, forget about it. There’s no options for non meat eaters. Some nights we didn’t even eat dinner because there was no option. The food at the buffet would be cold and stale, they barely restocked items. So first come first serve. Oh and they lie about water sports because the whole time we were there, there was no water sports and no one even told us the spot we could find it. Also, the entertainment sucked, most days we were so bored and nothing to do besides be in the pool or go to the beach.

The Majestic Colonial had a few issues during my stay. The air conditioning in the sports bar was out the entire week. All three pool tables on the resort are in poor condition. A section of ceiling fans in the theater were out for the entire week.

The resort was very nice, there were plenty of bars and several restaurants to choose from. Each night there was a different show at the theatre and the staff was always very pleasant. We had no issues checking in or checking out. Henry was extremely friendly and helpful to make reservations for dinners and got us anything we needed. Would love to come back soon!
