Our stay at Endless Summer, Rodanthe, OBX home was truly special and filled with the kind of moments you wish you could bottle up and keep forever. When we first arrived, I’ll admit it felt a bit smaller than the photos suggested but somehow, by the end of the trip, it had completely transformed into a place that felt like home. That shift says everything about the warmth and comfort this space offered. The house was incredibly kiddo and toddler friendly, which made traveling with little ones so much easier and more enjoyable. We were especially grateful for the thoughtful extras—there was an excellent assortment of beach and pool toys ready to go, and having cornhole available meant one less thing to worry about renting. It made those laid-back afternoons and family game nights even more fun.The location was another highlight. With partial views of both the ocean and the sound, you really got the best of both worlds. It was so easy to walk or bike to nearby spots—whether we were heading out for souvenirs, grabbing coffee and what might be the best cinnamon rolls we’ve ever had, or letting the kids burn off energy at the local arcade. Everything felt accessible without losing that peaceful, tucked-away vibe.If I had one complaint, it would be the pool heat. We did pay extra for it, and it didn’t quite meet expectations the entire trip. That said, it seems like this can be a common challenge in OBX during cooler weather.
