The gym needs to be repaired. The breakfast could have more variations. Some staff is friendly and very helpful. Big apartment with a nice balcony, equipped with almost everything you need at the open kitchen.

Good place in the heart of Providencia
Good place to stay in Santiago, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, metro station, shopping centers, banks. Clean service everyday and breakfast included. Highly recommended.

Christina at front desk knows English that really help. The room is clean and have clean towels everyday. Just the breakfast are a bit short. Same thing everyday. No fresh coffees, instant coffee package without milk, sandwiches without butter.

Poor management and service.
Full breakfast was promised but continental was provided with same ham and cheese for ten days of my stay at this hotel. Full gym was promised but gym was dirty and unusable. It is time to provide new bath room towels. Bathroom towels were worn out and dirty. I have booked this place month in advance but when I arrived service desk do not have my information and I waited in the dirty waiting area for half an hour after 5 pm to get room. When I got room it was two single bed and I requested double bed. After one day after I complained they arraigned to double bed. It was nightmare for me to stay in this hotel stay and I never advise anybody.

I liked the cleaning ladies and reception ladies customer service. I didn't like the size of the room and bathroom too small, the lights of the corridor were flickering all the time. the pool didn't have any chairs or towels and it was freezing water. but the worse was the parking, it was very dark and you have to wait until the receptionist decides to look at the monitor and see you waiting there to open the garage door, it was not automatic the same to get in you have to get out of the car and ring a bell to talk with the receptionist to ask to open the garage door. I will not use this place again.

Lookout this is an APART-HOTEL
Remember you are in a walking distance from everything important especially if you are on business. Costanera center provides ironing and laundry services, an exchange service and so much more. Unfortunately the hotel name is misleading, you do not know in advance this is an apart hotel. you should demand from the owners to declare it as an apart-hotel on its title. If you do not MUST, DO NOT PAY FOR ITS BREAKFAST, it is not worth the money. This hotel has basic necessities kitchen so just buy yourself your preferred breakfast and hold it in the fridge, you can also use the electrical stove and much more.

Decent apart hotel from an overall perspective. Room was a little dusty and A/C (heater) was too small for the room. Fitness facility is in terrible condition. I also found out the Hotel does not have a single Iron for clothing. Lots of room for improvements.

Providencia a great location; cafes, shops, public transportation (metro) close by. WIFI connection could be stronger; Only instant coffee in the breakfast basket. With a full kitchen, would have preferred the real thing! Friendly staff. Very pleasant overall. Would stay again

Uncomfortable stay
No one alert us about the parking conditions (not even Expedia), so when we arrived to Santiago, we didn’t have the parking lot assigned and we had to move to another place and pay for it. The WiFi do sucks: after two days mal functioning and because all the complaints the concierge sent someone to the room. Also, the building has not sound proof system, so you will hear everything from the outside. I have to make an exception on the clean condition of the room.

Perfectly located appart hotel in Santiago Chile
This was my third visit to the RQ Providencia Suites in Santiago Chile. It is located in the Providencia neighborhood, within steps of the Los Leones metro stop. This means that you can easily get anywhere in Santiago in a few minutes using the metro. The neighborhood is nice with plenty of shops and convenience stores nearby. The hotel staff is super attentive and the rooms are very nice and clean. The combination of cost, location and service makes this, to me, an unbeatable proposition in Santiago de Chile. I would recommend it to friends and I will certainly return to this hotel if I get the chance.

great place to stay.
great imagination the way the room was done. Whatever a person needs it was there. I like the way the electrical system work in the room. You must leave your room's key in a especial place and.when you leave the room you must take the key with you and the lights are turned off. fantastic no waste of electricity there. The staff was good, specially Prescila who was very helpful.

Apartment style hotel
Great having air conditioning in a middle of summer. Tidy apartment style room. Easy access to local shops and transport. Staff only speak Spanish but we're still easy to communicate with. Complimentary breakfast was wonderful and of high quality.

No English-speaking TV channels; WiFi is slow. Great location lose to many good restaurants and business center; great rate. Breakfast is simple but included; fitness center is too cramped for a workout. Remove some machines or get a bigger room; good rate

Comfortable hotel in safe location
The room was lovely (fairly new and very comfortable), the hotel is close to the metro line so it was easy to get around and the in-room breakfast box in the mornings was good.

Great room and view with the price paid - worth it
We were able to check in early and was glad that RQ Providencia is able to fulfill all my requests of getting a high floor room and facing the Andes Mountain. Nonetheless, check in was a smooth one. We like the room in RQ Providencia as it have a small kitchen - breakfast were served in your room, a living area with a dining table, sofa (very very soft sofa) and a bar table, the room was just nice for 2 twin beds and a slightly smaller size toilet. Overall it was neat and clean. We enjoyed our 1 night stay in RQ Providencia & it was not enough. Hotel amenities were sufficient. Hotel location is near a street which have shopping, food & beer which were opened till quite late. It is accessible to anywhere in the Providencia area & is within walking distance. Will recommend it to anyone who wish to visit Santiago.

Great place and great location. However, like any developing country I caution that you have to be cautious of the neighborhood. There was a robbery in a building right across from the street. It was late in the night. Lots of places to eat and close to some of the offices in case you are going for work.

Clean safe nice accessible excellent location. Close to Providencia Ave, Metro and Hop-on-hop-off stop. Nice compact apartment suite. No English TV channel. TV in bedroom, not in living room-disturbing to the one sleeping, cannot watch while eating, chatting etc. Staff helpful and responsive.

Perfectly clean. Pleasant staff. Near subways. Near restaurants and shopping. Breakfast for 2: 4 slices bread (no toaster); 2 slices ham; 2 slices cheese; one (1) bowl cereal; 2 boxes milk; 2 apples; 2 yogurt; 2 juice boxes. No lobby, so no chairs and no toilet. My Spanish is less than rudimentary. Staff: few English speaking staff who have little interest in learning English. I must assume no interest in encouraging English speaking tourists. As others said they didn't want to call TransVIP - had their 'own' taxi driver. Quoted 20K pesos in front of my friend, myself, and 2 staff. Got to airport suddenly it became 25K! Scam!

Very well located.Very clean Extremelly noisy at night, both from people on street as well as from cars in the main road... you can hardly sleep. In from of my room, very close, another building... no view at all other than people in their rooms/apartments. RQ staff well organized. The breakfast method after a couple of days gets very boring... always the same cereal and bread....

It's a nice and famous hotel that you won't worry about the taxi driver has no idea of its position, it's just at the center of downtown, the highest tower in Latin America is just before your windows and the Andes Mountain as the backgroud will be inside your view.

Very nice room. The receptionist at night did not speak any English, so could not answer any questions about tours. The receptionist during the day had to phone someone else to translate for me on the phone when I wanted to get a taxi. Is there room itself is very nice, it's basically a suite. The air conditioning was not working in my room.

Practical and well located.
The apart-hotel is very well located, just one block from two metro stations (Pedro Valdivia and Leon). Complimentary breakfast is placed on a tray the night before with 4 slices of bread, 2 fruits (either banana, apple, orange), milk and juice in individual long life cartons, marmalade, butter and two cakes. Toilet and kitchen are well cleaned daily, but there were quite an amount of dust below the bed. There is no towel nor soap or sponge for us to wash the dishes. A/C and fridge were quiet, which was great. The beds are set-ut with just one pillow (high foam pillow) and we only got an extra one after asking the cleaning lady, since we were not successful asking twice in the front desk (so here is a tip). Rooms with final 1,2 and 3 are quite silent and the poor glazing does not play a role in this room. View from Santiago from the roof is very nice.

Pleasant and convenient
The bedroom area was quite small but worked Ok since we had the living area. The breakfast tray was brought the afternoon before so we could use it forbreakfast in bed since oneof us didn't feel well or a light late snack. They arranged vor a taxi to meet us at the airport with a sign. Very helpful.

we were highly disappointed in our stay at RQ Providencia Suites. this was only due to the poor customer service, in all our years of traveling, my husband and i have never encounted such bad service. we arrived at 7am, asked if we could check-in early (check-in time is 3pm), they said we'd have to pay half the room rate of $70, which we were perfectly happy to do. The man at reception then changed this to the full room rate, if we had arrived at 2/3am in the morning i would understand this but it was 7am and the room was ready. we paid it nonetheless as we had just flown overnight & wanted to sleep. they said we could speak to the manager to discuss this when he got in at 8.30am, we weren't overly keen on standing at the reception desk for 1.5hrs to wait until he got in. we tried at least 3 times to speak to the manager with no luck. we asked if they could get him to come & see us in our room or phone us, one staff member then said they didn't have a manager, then someone else said he doesn't phone or go to peoples room. rather odd & unprofessional for a hotel manager. the location of this hotel/serviced-apartment is good, breakfast was delivered daily however they are really the only positives we could find.

Nice apart/hotel in the centre of Provedencia
Comfortable hotel and clean with nice furniture. Some rooms have better furniture than others I've noticed. Good wifi. I stayed on the 4th floor and after a couple of days changed to the 7th floor due to the noise and wifi worked great both times. Perfect for longer stays. I stayed for 2 weeks. Equipped with a safe, small kitchenette with a few utensils. Not ideal for major cooking, only simple meals. Breakfast is delivered to your room the evening before. The reception staff were really nice and helpful! Their English is ok and they can understand easy not complicated sentences. They did a lot of restaurant reservations for me, were very helpful when I asked them to change my room and booked me a taxi a couple of times when I got to the airport and was travelling to the south. The hotel gets a fixed rate with the taxis so must book with them. Better than hailing one in the street. After my return I received an email from the reception telling me that I forgot a neclasse in the safe. I was really impressed with their honesty. They will keep it safe till my son goes and collects it.

Clean hotel located in a lively part of Santiago.
The RQ Providencia Suites fill rooms in a large multi-floor apartment building. The entry has a security guard with multiple cameras that provides some level of security and peace of mind. The elevators almost always included building residence, which provided yet a further feeling of security. The room was always clean, a simple, but filling breakfast was included. Wireless worked every time without fail. The small kitchenette was handy. While the hotel is situated on one of the main boulevards with the main shopping district on a short walk away, a short walk perpendicular to the main boulevard and you find yourself in quaint sidewalk cafes and restaurants with fantastic service, wonderful waitstaff, and great wine and food. About the only thing I can say on the negative side would be the lack of bottled water in the room.

Good price for the service
A bit odd the entry as the guard can be rude asking where are you going. The apartment is good, the breakfast a bit odd but ok. They left on your fridge ham and cheese and some bread and juices as well as a piece of fruit and yogurt. Besides that is a very good hotel for the price.
