It was a nice place to stay-very close to the beach. The man at the desk was friendly, helpful and responsive to the few needs we had. My wife always enjoys a stay in Seaside Heights but room rentals are always a little dicey, especially if you don’t want to spend a fortune. This was great for us at a decent place.

Absolutely never again
The front desk was rude, the comforter had an unknown substance on it. The sheets looked reused and unwashed. The pullout couch looked like a cat had scratched at it for weeks. There was what looked to be a junior mint candy squished on the floor. The bathroom had a small hole in the door. The water barely got warm. I booked a double bed room and got a single king that sagged in the middle. And the room itself just smelled awful. Would NOT recommend. The best part was how close to the boardwalk it was and for some people who like jersey shore, the shore house is right across the street.

Don’t know about the motel part itself but the apartments are newer and more updated. Pretty clean and roomy. Right across the street from the boardwalk.I would stay again

manager needs to be let go
worst manager of all time wanted to kick out a group before me it was ridiculous and no parking if it gets too full he says u have to pay to park on the street than not my problem. cut off our water in the am too threatened to call the cops on this one couple and didnt even let them stay in the room. i will never stay here again he walked me up to my room n stayed in there a while being weird af and stalked me to my car at checkout when i still had hours to checkout was asking what i was doing everytime i moved

Paid over $200 for 1 night and it was not worth the money. The lock on door was bad, hair on the pillows, channels on tv was very poor, window and above window was rotted, not enough power outlets, and most knobs on the dresser was missing. I’m very disappointed in that property and I will never return

There were 3 positive things about this place, location to boardwalk and they had an awesome ice machine, and it included a beach pass. Otherwise it was very outdated, broken things in the apartment , water came in from the rain, we had to throw our own garbage out and go get new towels.

The condition of my room was definitely disappointing, there was sand in a corner behind door, floor was filthy, I even asked for a broom to sweep the entire room, bed covers smelled like urine, underneath covers we could feel the sand, let me make it clear, this was on the first night, we hadn’t even gone to the beach or walking on the sand. Window blinds were broken and I felt like we had no privacy. There seem to be no daily maintenance for the pool. On the day of my check out, owner/manager wanted to charge me $50 extra, claiming that we had broken the window blinds. Would never recommend this motel to anyone.

Stay away is all I can say. I recently booked a room for the weekend in the month 8/21 for a weekend wedding. Moldy dirty in room and outside the surrounding of hotel. Very very Rude management..

Very old and grungy place. Lots of smokers and butts all over the place. A lot of trash around. Soft springy bed. I booked 1 king bed but apparently they don’t have king beds so we ended up with 2 doubles but I think they were actually queens. The pool water seemed clean but the concrete floor is all chipped. It is close to beach and boardwalk but Seaside is not a good place for families, I would not go back.

To be honest the manager was the nice part. We didnt even stay for the nights we paid. It really needs to be updated. There was bags of garage in between floors, the room was ok but the beds were uncomfortable when we laid on them for a nap, the tv stand had a broken door and we didnt feel safe

The price was a little high for the quality of the hotel, but it was in a great location right next to the boardwalk also right across the St from the jersey shore house!! The staff was friendly we enjoyed our stay there but the price was steep but I guess that's the shore prices....

First of all, I just want to say this was by far the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been to. As soon as we walked into our room there was a disgusting smell that Febreze couldn’t even take away. Literally everything was super dirty, i wouldn’t understand why a $234 room was so dirty to the point where myself as a guest had to clean it before bringing my belongings into the room. About 1:30am while I was half asleep, I felt myself getting bit by something. And of course as a normal person would, I flashed my light my phone and had to kill a bed bug. Shortly after that, another one appeared. As I proceeded to sleep in the other bed that was not being used, 4:30am I was woken up by another guest who was drunk and super loud. The walls are literally like paper, you can hear everything on the other side. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I paid $234 for one night since it was a Saturday night and it was booked last minute, which was not a big deal but since I am spending such a large amount of money you would think they could’ve at least wiped things down or perhaps warned me about the bed bugs. Honestly, don’t even waste your time, it was literally disgusting.

Hi Matt, Thank you for your post. Our ice machine unfortunately is broken but we are in the process of getting a new one. However, we offer to go to our other property to get guests the ice they need in order to continue to accommodate them the best we can. We apologize for the King size bed being unavailable but it was only because they were all occupied. We are glad you noticed the cleanliness as we are striving be the best we can in this category Our location like you said is second to none as we are right across the street from the boardwalk.,.

Very sorry to hear that your stay was unpleasant. However, you gave us nothing specific address. We are working hard to improve what the guests tell us is wrong. Notwithstanding, we are not blind, nor are we naive, we are aware of most of the issues. That said, we are working diligently to improve on as much as we can before the season ends. This doesn't mean we stop when the crowds stop coming, maintenance and upkeep is ongoing; indefinitely.

Loved the proximity to the board walk... rooms could have been a little nicer for the price. The way they are now they really are 60.00 a nite rooms at best ... left my iPhone charger there and went back and it was gone obviously they don’t have honest workers who turn stuff in.

So sorry you feel this way, notwithstanding, there are rooms for $60 a night right down the road and people come here to stay because they were literally horrified by what they saw there. Keep in mind you get what you pay for and the Four Winds is certainly not a $60.00 motel. Regarding your charger, our housekeeping staff are some of the most honest people you will ever meet and do not even own a cell phone.
