Great Location but a few issues
This house was the perfect location in a very quiet neighborhood. A close walk to the beach and getting to town by car or walking was very easy. Walking in, at first glance, the house seemed clean and well appointed though definitely decorated to the taste of the older guest....and I'm nearly 65 and it seemed out of date to me. After walking around a bit, it was painfully obvious that the floors were not level in a lot of places, which wasn't really a big deal. It was a little disconcerting to come across an ant trap on the stairs and a few stray ants, but not a big issue. We didn't walk around barefoot because the kitchen floor was a bit sticky (ew). The bed in the downstairs bedroom was leaning one way and very hard and small. And when the water was running in the upstairs bath, you'd swear it was going to come right through the wall in that bedroom. My husband slept there and I slept on the couch. My son and his wife slept in the biggest room upstairs and said the bed was very comfortable. The 2 teenagers could sleep anywhere so their beds weren't an issue. We did cook breakfast and dinner on Saturday night and found the kitchen quite lacking in utensils that were basic and the pots and pans were in worse condition than the ones we take camping. All that being said our stay was very nice because we were together for a fun weekend and the issues were minor enough that the owner could get them all fixed in one day, aside from the leaning floors.

Wonderful. Lots of room, great yard. Easy walk to beach and town. Four bedrooms made taking a nap or a quiet read easy. Large table so all could eat together and play board games

Fabulous House
We really enjoyed our stay, it was a great place for our family. Easy assess to the beach and down town. Older home but clean and tidy. Nice space for our entire family! Shelley was amazing, I had a couple questions and she got back to me very quickly!

We spent Thanksgiving in this house and it was totally comfortable. It worked very well for our group because we had one member who is mobility challenged and having a downstairs bedroom and bathroom with shower worked great! I wish it had been a little closer to downtown, but we just got some extra steps in:-)

Great location in a quiet neighborhood close to beach
This was a great home to stay in for a group of friends or family. It is in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach and boardwalk. It has plenty of space for guests. The house is a bit dated and was not very clean when we arrived (used a tip on bathroom floor, toilets not clean) but the home was very comfortable.

Nice home. Easy walk to beach, a little longer to downtown, restaurants and other things to do. There were ants in the kitchen that didn't seem to respond to ant bait that was left. Maintenance responded quickly when smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector battery was low and beeping.

Short walk to promenade and beach. Everyone in the neighborhood was friendly and also enjoying the beach life. House is more spacious than it looked and was quiet even though there were 8 of us.

We really enjoyed this house. It is spacious and had plenty of room for our party of 4 adults and 2 children. One bedroom downstairs had a squeaky, saggy mattress but if someone smaller slept in it (as opposed to my 200 pound son) it would probably be fine. All other beds comfortable. One set of steep stairs, but we brought a baby gate for our under 2 year old and it was fine. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to heat up and cook simple meals. Manager responded promptly to a clogged toilet, and even called us the day of arrival to tell us we could check in early which was so helpful with small children who needed to nap. Two blocks to the beach, very easy walk. Upstairs main bedroom was a real oasis with its own deck amongst the rooftops. You can't see the ocean from the top floor, but you can hear it. Lots of windows for a cross breeze and natural light. TONS of storage. Game room with fun games. Very nice fenced front and back yard for kids. Plenty of beach toys for kids left by previous renters. House is not fancy, but is truly "beachy" which is what we wanted. We loved it!

So fun!
We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Everything was very clean. Easy walking distance to most everything. We did not use the kitchen much, but if you plan on cooking you should bring most of your own items. Recommend if you have a little kid that is walking to bring your own baby gate for the stairs. Otherwise everything was great and I hope we can stay here again!

The house was the perfect size and very close to everything. It was very clean and the kids enjoyed playing outside in the gated yard. The beds were very uncomfortable, as were the pillows, and there was a problem every morning/time we would leave with ants getting into our food. The TV also did not work. It was difficult to get an early check in, even though we drove by the day before our stay and it was very clear no one was staying there.

Beach House
The house was in a very good location only a very short walk to the beach. Check in was also easy. My friends and I do cook most of our meals and found only one larger ( plastic) bowl and very few serving pieces. The dishwasher was loud but did work ok. Overall this was a nice property but could do with some updates.

Wonderful Experience
There were six of us who stayed two nights in this home. Every single one of us agreed that this is one of the best homes we’ve stayed at. This home was clean and spacious, and so close to the beach! This year we all went with out our kids, but definitely will be back with them because the home is child friendly! Loved everything about this home, definitely would recommend to others.

The walk to the actual ocean was more than a minute but to the sand to see the ocean yes a minute walk. It was all a wonderful experiance and everyone enjoyed the jacuzzi tub upstairs plenty of sleeping spaces for all 5 kids we had and nice private deck from the kids off the master bed upstairs. We also were amused by the neighbors fake owl in the tree that we thought was real for about a day, it never moved.. All in all a great experiance and would go again

The house is perfectly located to take kids to the beach plus a deck and entryway that can help you minimize sand all in a quiet neighborhood. We also loved the room. We had two families with two kids each and the space was perfect. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Overall this home had a lot of great dining and entertaining options as well as a stellar game room with cards, puzzles, board games, with room to spread out without feeling too far away from each other. Couch and bed are comfy. The stairs are steep and narrow and might be made safer with some carpet. Great proximity to the beach and promenade. The kitchen had most amenities expected in a home. The items that would make this home even better are hair dryers, foil/plastic wrap and/or zip lock/paper bags.

Perfect beach house!
Loved this house! There were only 3 of us and we had so much room in this 4 bedroom house. Several areas to spread out to have our own space - dining room, tv room, reading area, game table. Nice little backyard and nice deck with somewhat of a view off the master bedroom. A 5 minute walk (if that) to the promenade and beach. Would love to rent again. There were a few small issues that were easy to resolve with the property manager's help. Overall a great stay.

Very clean home, quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach. Great water pressure and very hot water. Also nice jetted tub and deck off the master. Overall a comfortable place-we enjoyed the stay! A few things that could be improved: needs more dishes/silverware, updated mattresses and furniture (2 very hard beds, broken chair at game table, couches very low and worn). Also fireplace didn’t work and dishwasher was extremely loud (sounded like it may be on its last leg)... These weren’t deal breakers for us but addressing these would definitely make it a 5 star stay!

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The dishwasher was loud when ran and the stove only had 2 burners right next to each other. This made it difficult to use large pots/pans at the same time.

A great home to stay with family and friends. Close to beach and somewhat close to broadway. A surprise was the hot tub in the bathroom upstairs. My partner enjoyed it mighty. I would suggest a through cleaning it appears to be a ring around it. House was clean accept for the grill out back which looked as though it had not been cleaned in months. I would god back to this home again we really enjoyed our time there.

Great vacation rental for family, two blocks from the beach
This is a delightful house built probably in the 1930s or 40s that is remodeled and up-to-date on the inside. It has four separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well appointed modern kitchen.. Upstairs bathroom has a large jetted tub upstairs. There is a full bathroom downstairs. So, a group of four or five can get ready quickly in the morning. The kitchen has a complete collection of cooking utensils and there is an apartment sized washer dryer combo unit in a small laundry room. The house is very clean and well-maintained The house is about two or three blocks from the shoreline promenade. Is a short, very scenic, walk along the promenade to downtown Seaside. Seaside is a very short drive to Cannon Beach and a 20 minute drive to Astoria. This is a great rental for a family where everybody can have their own space when they want to and is centrally located to get to Seaside, Cannon Beach, Astoria.

Nice place for girls weekend.
Was a great weekend. The house work great for us. Would definitely rent it again. The only issue we had was ants. You might want to do a ant treatment.
