Snow Getaway
We loved the cabin. We had absolutely perfect weather and enjoyed the snow. My dogs had fun trampling around and we were so thankful to find a pet friendly cabin with a fence around the property line. Thank you for welcoming us into your home.

Cozy Family Getaway!
Clean and comfortable cabin in a great location. This cabin was perfect for our annual Shaver family getaway. Everything in town is walking distance and the neighborhood streets are wonderful to walk and explore. Thank you for your great hospitality! Lovely Little Get Away
This cabin is in the perfect location. Quick walk to everything in town. Nice sized living room with comfy couches. Plenty of space for 5-6 folks. Upstairs has 2 king beds and one double. Two smart TVs, one upstairs and one in the living room. Good assortment of board games too. Fantastic deck for enjoying the outdoors. Really nice gas BBQ too! Host was easy to get a hold of and very communicative. Kitchen has the basics so if you are going to cook, bring extra items and utensils. The one upstairs king bed is super comfy, the others could use a mattress topper. Wifi worked great! Bring your streaming TV logins!

Comfy cabin near town
You’re only about a block away from the Main Street (tollhouse road I think) and maybe a 2 min drive from camp Edison where you can buy day use passes. The cabin has 3 beds and a bathroom upstairs and one room at the base of the stairs. The weather was perfect (besides a little rain) so all we needed were the ceiling fans during the day, of which there were plenty. The kitchen has a decent amount of pans, utensils, plates, cups, etc.

Awesome family cabin
Our family and dogs had everything we needed to come home to after a day on the lake. The kids loved having their own space upstairs. The dogs were fenced in and could hang in the yard. Loved all the extra things like phone chargers and board games. Our family would love ti stay there again.

The cabin was in a perfect location… Easy to walk to all the restaurants and shops downtown Shaver… The cabin was very clean with a really nice deck area to relax on… I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Great experience in the mountains!
Cabin is adorable. Located in nice neighborhood of cabins close to Ken’s and restaurants. Ryan was super helpful when the upstairs heater went out and told us where to find and extension cord to heat the upstairs. Great stay! And my dog loved it!

Buckeye
We absolutely loved the cabin on Buckeye. We got rain and snow almost everyday we were there and loved every minute of it. The cabin was location was PERFECT as we were able to walk our dog right into town and grab a cup of coffee or the amazing blackberry milkshake from The Hungry Hut. The cabin was nice and cozy and perfect size for the 6 or us. Ryan was awesome in his communications with us! Would highly recommend staying here! Thanks for a great long weekend!

Cute little cabin that is right in the heart of shaver. Stairs in cabin a bit steep if you have small children. Great spot for dogs since has fenced yard. Ryan was great at responding to questions which is so appreciated.

Property is very cute inside and out. Warm blankets, heaters and fireplace to keep us warm. Great set up for the family to hang out. Nice patio and barbecue area. Easy electronic front door entry. Overall, a great stay.

Great Thanksgiving
My family and our dog stayed here for the week of Thanksgiving and it was absolutely perfect!!! It was such a wonderful getaway!!! We enjoyed the crisp air, playing in the snow, we made a snowman and named him Sal. We walked our dog every day to the local coffee shop, went fishing, played board games, watched movies, cooked and baked!!! We made memories that will last a life time!!!

Relaxing, quiet getaway spot
This was such a great home in a great location. Clean, cozy, and well maintained this home was perfect for a couple and their dog. The neighborhood was quiet and we always felt safe. The location was perfect for walking to the local restaurants and bars. The locals were so friendly and welcoming to us and we truly can’t wait to get back. Lots of close trailhead options nearby as well. The snow was a welcome surprise and just made our hikes more enjoyable. Our host was always quick to respond to questions we had prior to our stay and their premier host rating is well deserved. We had the best time!

Loved this cabin. Well stocked kitchen and a beautiful deck for morning coffee. It even has a dog run which was big enough for our two muts. Phone chargers are in the living room and bedroom. Will definitely book again!

Comfortable Cabin
The cabin was well stocked, had plenty of beds for guests, and nicely laid out. It was far enough back from the main road so you didnt hear cars at all, yet close enough to the main road that you could walk to the local stores. Everyone in the town is incredibly kind an accommodating. The cabin owners were really nice and ensured that they reached out to checkin to see if we needed anything. We would definetly stay here again.

Cozy, enjoyable and clean bungalow
Very clean and organized place. We arrived easily following the directions provide. The checking process was seamless and the place had been cleaned before our arrival. We loved the proximity to the town, and getting to the Lake was a short walk away. Very quiet area, and our bungalow had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our time, and we'll likely be back again in the future.

Simply delightful
Beautiful cabin, very inviting, clean and comfortable. Great location, close to town. A real cabin in the woods experience—the views from the cabin windows were so peaceful and relaxing. Felt like home away from home. Ryan was a great host and easy to connect with.

Very uncomfortable cabin
Unfortunately our impromptu getaway was not a hit. This cabin is very cold. We went when the weather was in the 30's and 40's and it was very hard to keep the cabin at an even temperature. The doors and windows are super drafty. And the furniture in the cabin... there is not one single chair or couch that is comfortable to sit in. My husband and I were so stiff that we ended our trip a day early because we were so sore. Beautiful area but this cabin needs some TLC.

White Christmas!
This cabin is absolutely charming! We were there for Christmas and it was decorated for the holiday. Watching the snow fall through the big picturesque window in the living room was magical .❄️☃️ We took a short walk to the village and stopped by the friendly bakery for monkey bread and coffee. Ryan is an excellent host! Always prompt with responses to emails, personable and accommodating. Looking forward to our next booking!

Too expensive for what you get
The pictures didn't fairly represent the property. The outside needs much attention. The BBQ was filthy, the deck was very dirty and had nails sticking up out of the boards and lots of OLD things under the house/deck. The cabin is quaint but the couches were very uncomfortable, carpet very stained and there was a hatch in the floor that easily opened up to the under side of the house for easy access in/out of the cabin. There wasn't any way of locking this door. It felt very unsafe. This cabin was not worth the almost $500/night. We checked in Friday at 5:30 and left at 8:00 that night.

Shaver Lake Midweek Getaway
First time to Shaver Lake. Didn't know much about it, but thought we'd try it out. We normally go to Eastern Sierra Mtns. Place was great for our family of four (2 adult teens plus my wife and I) and our two dogs. Location was excellent. Walking distance to town, food, and stores. Loved the small yard for our pups. We hung out on the patio about 75% of the trip.......big trees and cool breezes, and some sun too. House was well equipped. Only thing would be to maybe add some small soaps and shampoos, as i forgot mine. Overall, place was as advertised, and host was responsive. Lake was excellent, clear and clean. Hope to come back again!

Just What We Wanted :)
We really, really, enjoyed our stay at the Shaver Lake Cabin! It was completely spotless, plenty of space to relax, and a great kitchen. The upstairs bedroom is the entire top floor with a flat screen TV and a bathroom, so it is almost like another suite...my 2 teenage girls enjoyed it a lot. The check-in was super easy, the check-out super easy, and plenty of heat. We only needed the gas fireplace to easily heat the whole cabin. It is an adorable cabin-like feel with all of the necessary updates and clean, clean, clean. We were walking distance to a market and burger place which was great...and close to town. There is a back door that leads to the deck and yard which is great for the doggies if you bring them....we had to shovel snow to get access to the back door, but the snow was what we had hoped for! The neighborhood is also perfect for walks in the mornings and evenings. We really had a wonderful, relaxing time, and loved the rental. We can see where being there in the summer would be wonderful with the beautiful deck, trees, and quiet surroundings :)

Ski Trip with Friends in pet Friendly Cabin
The cabin was quaint and easily accessible from the main road through town. Walking distance to the down town area. We loved the spacious ground floor patio/deck which had ample space and seating for our small group. Unfortunately, the entry to the ground floor bathroom was a little small for our friend's wheelchair otherwise this would have been the perfect handicap accessible cabin. There was a minor plumbing issue that the owner had taken care of with very little inconvenience to us. Plenty of dishes, cooking utensils and linens. The check in and out process was much easier than many other vacation rentals we have used in the past and the owner was very responsive to text message inquiries.

Loved the location on the property. The floor plan was great, the upstairs bathroom was a plus. Minor issue, there was definitely animals in the cabin. The furniture and carpet had lots of pet hair on it. Overall great place!!!
