“The Oak Cottage was exactly as described and had everything we needed. The location is quiet and tranquil with the Creek just down the hill. We arrived very late but the owner was a gem and brought us a lantern to combat the power outage caused by tornados in the area. 10/10 will stay again.”

“I was in town to run the Savage Marathon. The race start/finish was only 10 minutes down the road. This cabin was the perfect place for me. It was a great size, quiet, private, and had everything I needed to cook a few meals and clean up after the race. Stopped by the Greeter Grill after the race and had a great burger and fries. I love camping at Savage Gulf Preserve but this is a perfect option when I’m not feeling up to camping.”

“It was a beautiful setting to be in. The lake was amazing & hearing all the frogs at night was fun. The cottage itself was so cute & well designed it to maximize the space. The kitchen was the perfect size & the view out the back porch was refreshing. I really appreciated that this place was pet friendly so I was able to bring my two dogs. However, during the email notification process before checkin, saw there would be a $100 fine if dog hair was found in the sheets. I brought dog beds for my...
