Everyone was super friendly and south Cumberland state park was beautiful and worth the trip.

While Clifftops might not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Clifftops Lake and Sam H. Werner Military Museum.

While there might not be top attractions in Cooleys Rift, you can explore the larger area and discover places like Sam H. Werner Military Museum and Monteagle Sunday School Assembly.

We love staying here on our trip from FL to Chicago. Friendly staff! We always stay in the cabins.

We really enjoyed our stay! Just a couple notes to help the next guests—bring your own firewood, small kindle if you want to use the wood burning stove. And download the guidebook on a computer (links do not work on a mobile device). Hot tub was lovely!

I have always enjoyed stopping at Monteagle for food or a break. This was my first overnight stay. Really enjoyed it and want to come back for a week or so to really check out the area. Love the scenery and always enjoy history.
High Point restaurant down the street was an amazing place to have dinner.
The room was dirty, the furniture was old and some pieces broken, and the curtains had holes in them.
Quiet place. Good people.
Cool little town, my second visit to the area but first time to this hotel.
