Hotel Fiorentino is a great place to stay if one is visiting Stresa. Federico the manager accomadated our early checkin. His staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and bar. The hotel has a delicious breakfast buffet . I highly recommend staying here.

It was a shear delight to stay at Hotel Fiorentino.. Comfortable , clean, good breakfast and the staff could not have been more helpful. Location in Stresa was great.

Very friendly team who were very communicative and friendly. The room was clean and functional. Breakfast was a little basic but pleasant (the different cakes and croissants were especially good). Dinner at the restaurant was in line with some of the other, better offerings in the local area.

Centrally located
Small family owned and operated hotel in very central location. Call ahead for parking advice as there is a lot behind the hotel. We were warmly welcomed, allowed a late check out, and had a delicious breakfast (excellent coffee, meat, cheese, fruit and yogurt). This isn't the fanciest hotel in Stresa but that isn't what we were looking for.

Recently renovated rooms in an old building in a pedestrian only section of town. Parking is available near the hotel. Careful when following GPS instructions to get to the hotel as you may be told to enter the extra narrow streets of the town center.

Highly recommended
Great little family run hotel. You are guaranteed to be well looked after. The breakfast is great and very friendly service. Located close to all the local shops and restaurants and just a short walk to the ferries.

Don’t miss Stresa
Centrally located , we were really happy with our stay. We chose half board and the dinners were good , with two choices of entree , two for main and a variety of deserts. Staff were cheery and helpfull so we are happy to recommend this hotel for anyone keen to experience beautiful Stresa .

Great for he money!
The only thing Really lacking were amenities like an ice machine and a coffee pot in the room. But, it is a 2-star hotel according to the local ratings. The location is excellent in the center of town and the restaurant is great for dinner. The breakfast was fair. Coffee was rather weak but you can ask for tea or decaf which were better. The room was comfortable. Carla the manager is wonderful and helpful.

Nice at the center of Stresa
Very nice part of Italy and the hotel was just at the center of Stresa. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good sized room, but the bed was very hard.

Fabulous family run hotel in great location. Family eat their lunch here every day and the locals eat here at night. A sure sign in Italy!

Genuine hospitality & charm from a family business
A very comfortable, family-run, small and extremely friendly hotel (with its own all-day restaurant, serving the public & guests) that is very close (about 40 metres) from the main dining square of old-town Stresa, and also very close (approx 150 metres) from the Lake-side and ferry terminal. Lots of old-world ambience and great staff friendliness, with quite adequate rooms, although not with the inclusions (eg. bar fridge) of modern hotels. The included breakfast is quite comprehensive and the dinner-de-casa (4 courses) is remarkably generous and of great quality at a surprisingly low price. A genuine feeling of historic charm and great hospitality at a truly affordable rate.

There was no water in the room, not in the basin, not in the toilet, not in the shower. I arrived at 9 pm. Only at 1 am water started flowing.I think they would have had to lower the price for the inconvinience but they didn't. They even asked for the 0,50 euro for local taxes.

Dear Roberta, there was no water due to a big leak on the public aqueduct. the whole town of Stresa was out of running water. Around 11.30 P.M. the service was restored. If it would have been our fault, I think we could have given you a reduction. Other Guest in the hotel understood the situation, once explained. Thank you for writing Best regards Federico

Great location, right in the heart of Stresa.
Simple but clean room. Don't expect anything special - no air conditioning (an electric fan), no tea/coffee making facility, very basic toiletries, no duvet, no room service, etc. But clean. Breakfast fairly extensive continental, but nothing special. Staff varied - sometimes courteous and kind; other times cold and indifferent.

Cosy Hotel near shops and the lake.
Very relaxing holiday in comfortable hotel with very good food and choice of menu. Very helpful staff. This was our third time here.

Wir waren mit zwei Kindern. -sehr Familiär, freundlich und der Gast steht im Mittelpunkt -sehr gutes Restaurant (HP oder Vollpension hier Pflicht!) Abendessen hatte man Auswahl und sehr fein. -Das Zimmer war okay/ Zweck erfüllen - schöne Terasse mitten in den Gassen von Stresa. Sauberkeit wird sehr ernst genommen. Die Zimmer, das Hotel und Restaurant waren auffällig Sauber!
