The Stargazer is nestled amidst beautiful mountain landscapes located across the street from Red Mt. biking trails, minutes to Mt. hiking trails, next door to the Thin Air disc golf course and 6 mins from shopping and grocery stores in downtown Rossland.
This artistic retreat boasts of mountain views, peaceful and private 5 acres, and a large roof top deck. Soak up the sun on the swinging chair, roast marshmallows in the fire pit. Relax at the end of your day in our new red cedar barrel sauna. The cabin interior is a sophisticated mix of style and rustic charm, cozy fireside living space with trendy decor with traditional log cabin vibes.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Property Manager was great to deal with. The cabin was greater than expected. It was very clean and comfortable, and had all the necessities that you would have at home. Would highly recommend this property.

Idyllic Getaway
Shawna’s beautiful cabin was perfect! Spotless, comfortable, well appointed and in a beautiful setting on 5 acres close to town and Red Mountain. She thought of everything for our stay and was super attentive when we had questions. And on top of that there was a basket full of treats to welcome us including dog cookies! We had a blast and will be back. Thanks to Shawna for all the effort to make your guests happy. Highly recommended!

Home away from home!
This log cabin is the perfect place to stay and enjoy Red Mountain and the area. The Location made our days on the hill really easy and stress free. The place was extremely clean with a very well stocked kitchen, extra comfy beds and some extra special local treats for us as well. We were very well looked after and I highly recommend Shawna as a host. Would love to come back one day soon!

Beautiful Cabin with Sauna
Our group of four adults and two medium sized dogs were very comfortable in this cabin. The host provided the most wonderful gift basket with doggo treats.Though small in a few places, the living room and dining table fit us all just fine. The sauna was an amazing addition and really elevated our stay. The property is beautiful and we even cross country skied out the front door to Blackjack Ski Club.

Family Ski Time
Ideal for a family gathering. Clean, cozy, warm and relaxed. We enjoyed the large round table for eating and games. Has a nice kitchen, warm floors, and the sauna was a nice treat after skiing. Nice open area to gather around a fireplace for drinks. Will stay here again.

Just what you need
I wish i could come back in winter and cozy up on the couch and read after skiing. Still, the fall leaves were amazing. We got in late and came home to a fire on in the fireplace. The heated bathroom floor and toilet seat were just amazing after being in the crisp air. Close to lots of great dining.

What a beautiful experience! We spent a few days at this gorgeous cabin and didn't want to leave! Our bed was very comfortable. Shawna, our host, was fantastic. She even left us some treats! We are looking at our calendar to see when we can go back!

Perfect mountain getaway
We had such a great time in this beautiful cabin. We all felt the pictures do not do this cabin justice as you really have to be there to see it. From the cleanliness to all of the details with supplies, kitchen gadgets, and decor. We only really needed to bring our clothes food and toiletries. Everything you need is there. I’m new to VRBO and didn’t realize where to find all of the information such as door code and wifi pw but Shawna was very patient and quick to respond to any of my questions. The surrounding areas are so nice and short distances from the cabin. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Summer family local BC getaway!
This was such a lovely home away from home for my family. It was me, my husband and our 3 daughters ages 9, 10 & 13. The house was perfect for the 5 of us. It was clean, the beds were all so comfortable and all the comforts of home were there! The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils and pots and pans we needed! The outdoor patio area above the car port was amazing in the morning as we enjoyed a cup of coffee and then at night making s’mores on the propane fire pit. Communication with the owner was amazing! Prompt and very helpful. My family and I had never been up to Rossland so the owner helped us out with recommendations on where to take the kids and gave us the name of her recommended grocery store. All in all this was an amazing trip, at an amazing house and we will for sure be back!!!

Absolute Hygge near Blackjack
Thank you so much for stocking the cabin with everything! Our mommas getaway to xc ski at Blackjack was perfect. Location was ideal. The interior was clean, well-organized and stocked for a cozy retreat. The bidet toilet was a novelty with the heated seat. Everything about your vacay rental was well described in your listing. We really enjoyed our stay at the Stargazer! The cabin was very clean (as if it was brand new), comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The host was responsive when we had questions and we especially loved the heated floors and fireplace. This will be our go-to on any future trips to RED.
