"We were concerned about the rain and cold that was predicted for the one night we were staying here..but honestly, once we got to the cabin, we forgot that it was nasty outside! The cabin is so cozy - we lounged around and watched TV, had the fireplace going and just had some family time! With 4 adults and 2 dogs, we did not feel like we were overcrowded or anything. A lot of thought was put into the details in this home and we loved every minute of being there!"

"The sound of the water flowing down the creek as you drift off to sleep has to be better than any sound machine ever. The beds were comfy and so was the fireplace. Dinner on the deck was my favorite thing of all. Highly recommend this home as well as the location!"

"House had great views! Close to the slopes and there is a plaza right up the road with a grocery store as well as pizza place. This is great for a group of adults who dont want to share rooms. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to whip up a family dinner. Hot tub and pool table were both a hit!"

"Wonderful spot just up the mountain. Close to skiing entrance and also to restaurants, grocery store, etc. Cozy fireplace to warm you after a day of skiing. Would definitely stay again."

"Went here with a group of 9 total. We loved the creeks on the property and the seating for outside; we have been taking an annual trip for 3 years now and it is hard to find seating for everybody. Inside we were able to fit everyone on the couches and chairs, with a few people rotating (some of us have joint issues so the seats were uncomfortable for our hips, but that is not an issue with the house). The kitchen is spacious and the island is very roomy. I would recommend bringing your own...

"Could not ask for a better location for a weekend ski getaway! The house was very clean upon arrival and well stocked with all of the necessities. Communication and check-in/out directions were great and the texts/calls to make sure we had everything we needed, were very appreciated. Can’t wait to visit again!"

"This place was perfect for our group. Had 5 adults and could’ve fit more people. The hot tub was absolutely amazing to have after being on the slopes all day. The main living area is huge, nice open floor plan. Central Heat works great but there is a gas fireplace that warms the place up quick too. Having a dryer to throw your ski clothes in is such a luxury so they’re dry by the time you put them on the next morning. Would 100% recommend this place and we will stay here again when we come back...

"Overall it was a nice place. We did have problems with the TV in the living room not working and when the jets were turned on in the tub they blew out black gunk. Other than that it was nice. We would stay there again."

"Really fun budget-friendly stay for a spring break slopeside. Plentiful blankets and pillows, fun decor, great slope access and views, nice mudroom and cozy spaces. Only complaint: The microwave is struggling."

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay! We especially enjoyed the hot tub, decks, and pool table. The kitchen was spacious, and the bedrooms were cozy. This house was perfect size for our family of 7 adults and 3 kids. We also liked the location especially because Banner Elk was just a short drive away. We would stay here again!"

"This house was perfect for our 5 kiddos…the teenagers took the downstairs and the little ones slept in the bunk room. It was clean, simple and exactly what we needed, and nice to be able to ski in and out so we didn’t have to haul everyone up & down the mtn."

"Took my 2 teenage kids skiing at Sugar Mountain and this location was perfect! Ski in/out onto an easy blue slope (Birch) and maybe 5 minutes if you need to drive down to the sugar mountain lodge. Plenty of space for us with 2 bedrooms (not pullout couch) for us to rest. Would definitely recommend and would stay again."

"Our host was one of the nicest people I could ever make reservations with. The condo is completely beautiful with a beautiful veiw especially in the winter. Everything that you would need for your stay is there. You dont need take anything extra. Kitchen items, towels, whatever you can name they had it. Also his response time to anything i needed was superb. If we ever return I would defineately use them again."
