"This is a fantastic property with a private pool, grill and entire house. It is within walking distance to historic Swansboro. They even have pool floats. It was nice they furnish the linens, towels and even pool towels. The Lowes grocery store close and there is a great fresh seafood market between the bridges to Cedar Point. Nice quiet neighborhood."

"The house was convenient to the area. Having to share laundry area with the apartment and only having 8AM - 2PM was not ideal. Evenings would be better for a family. 1 bathroom for 5 people was ok, but made it comparable to a hotel room. Beds were not comfortable at all unless you like extra hard. The beds were the biggest negative. Everything else was good."

"Just as advertised - just a short walk under the bridge (which is cool!) to downtown. Great little town with a lot of history, shops, and restaurants/bars. The apartment has been meticulously crafted inside a storefront - very well done! Just park in front of the sign...it looks like a storefront, but it's a cute little place that is perfect for 2 people"

"Some VRBO rentals are a place to sleep and shower while you go elsewhere for entertainment, activities and excursions. The Captain’s Quarters IS THE EXPERIENCE!! The host have lovingly kept the craftsman cottage charm while updating this local historic home with coastal-farm vibe. From the Southern front porch we listened to a live band at the gazebo on nearby Front Street. We enjoyed our daily visits from the Muscovy ducks and their ducklings. Locals and visitors were careful to drive slow...
