Marshall Point Lighthouse is located near the fishing village of Port Clyde, Maine. The Lighthouse property includes the wonderful light, connected via the long wooden runway to the property, a lovingly-restored Keeper’s House, as well as welcoming grounds and complimenting gardens. In The Keeper’s House, there is an extensive museum housing exhibits centered on the lighthouse as well as a historic look into the industries and life on our peninsula.
As an interesting detail, in the movie “Forest Gump” Tom Hanks concluded his long run on the lighthouse runway.
There is “limited” but adequate parking available with easy access to the grounds and Museum.

"This was the fourth time we have rented the Sunshine on the Sheepscot apartment and it was delightful as usual. The apartment has a charming, historic feel but still has most of the modern amenities. Be aware that there is a fairly steep staircase to get to the apartment so it maybe won’t be the best choice for people with mobility issues but it is highly recommended for a great stay in Wiscasset!"

"This was a great condo. We really enjoyed watching the action on the harbor from the covered deck. The furnishings and appliances were brand new. There was plenty of room for a group with the layout of the bedrooms. It was very convenient to have the restaurant in the same building and it was a short drive to downtown. "We had a wonderful stay here in June. The house was just as it is pictured, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location was ideal. It felt very quiet, but we were very close to all of the conveniences of Rockland. We could walk across the street to the spectacular Breakwater path, which we walked every day. The views of the bay were just gorgeous, including an osprey nest, which we watched from the window. The house is part of a condo community, which is impeccably maintained and landscaped....
