"The hosts, Alex and Freddie, have created a warm, friendly, and comfortable place to stay in Christmas Cove. The expansive breakfast table is conducive to getting to know and learn from other guests while enjoying a delicious homemade breakfast. Our experience was delightful."

"This B&B is perfectly located and well run. The site Mgr is wonderful and serves an amazing daily breakfast. The room we had was spacious, quiet, and beautifully furnished. It is a very short walk to the center of Boothbay Harbor shopping and eating. My wife's favorite shop was only 5 doors away from the Blue Heron's front door. If we ever return to the Boothbay area we will definitely stay at the Blue Heron again."

"Donna was a wonderful hostess. She greeted us warmly and really wanted to know a bit about us and what brought us to Boothbay Harbor (an anniversary celebration). Her orientation to our accommodations and the town was very helpful. We stayed in “solitude “, a lovely, separate cottage behind the main house that was perfect for us. We will definitely return to Atlantic Ark in the future. "

BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I WERE SCARED TO STAY ThERE. Also they suggest you have dinner there and the place is overgrown with plants. Truly in 44 years of traveling in the US and around the world this is the worst place to stay that I have ever been. "The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nicely set up, with plenty of light and comfortable seating for reading, knitting or doing a jigsaw puzzle. I am claustrophobic and very much appreciated having a sliding door to the outside and a wonderful long distance view. The breakfast had a lot of good options. The eco-friendly part was interesting. The top of the trash barrel had a hole for "Trash" and one for "Recycling", but there was no divider in the actual barrel, so everything went into the same bag."
