Excellent property at reasonable price
The apartment was on a fantastically clean and well maintained quiet site. The grounds were lovely for sunbathing even though the water in the pool was chilly.The apartment was on the 4 th floor overlooking pool and sunbathing area.There was a lift for those with weak or aged knees. In the flat the balcony was superb for breakfast and evening meals. Very hot at lunchtime ( kept down the sea for cooling breeze. Bedroom was functional with two single beds and a ceiling fan. The bathroom was also functional but had everything you needed. An issue for us (73 ) was the toilet which was rather close to the facing wall. I’ve just had a knee operation and could manage with care. The shower was over a small bath but we coped quite well. The kitchen was well equipped and had large fridge and cooker. Utensils were fine.The living room had a nice settee with a low table so you could eat indoors. A very good air conditioner kept the room cool. Apartment very close to a great supermarket. The sea front was a max. of 5 minutes away and in front was the best beach in the area. Local cafes, bars and restaurants were excellent with fish, paella and local dishes . Prices much lower than anticipated. To the right is Los Américas and to the left Los Christianos . Great promenade for walking miles if you wanted.We averaged 4 to 5 miles a day with no problem especially if you walked early or late . Overall a great holiday which we can recommend if you can walk downhill/uphill to/from beach .

Hi Pamela. We have just replaced the Air Conditioning unit to the highest tech spec version so the cold air travels further. When there are heatwaves which we find only happen a few times per year in July and August then we find it’s good to sleep in the lounge on the double sofa bed It’s comfortable and also very new to the apartment. Just Perfect !!
We knew we were onto a winner from the first communication with Caitriona, who answered all our questions promptly. The complex itself is very secure, peaceful & ideally placed, being just a 5 minute walk to Las Vistas beach & a 2minute walk to a decent sized Mercadona supermarket. 10 - 15 minutes walk one way & your in Los Cristianos, 10 - 15 minutes the other way & your on the main strip of Playa De Las Americas. As for the apartment itself, it is a good size, has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, but it's main selling point is the view from the terrace.... What a view to wake up to !! It's worth every penny !! This apartment is one of those you are reluctant to leave a review for, so you can keep it your hidden gem ! Don't hesitate to book ....You won't regret it ! Excellent property on great complex
The property is very well located. The bus stop, with direct buses to the airport is very close. It is very close to Vistas beach and the bars and restaurants of Los Chrisianos. The apartment is well equipped with good sea views.

Great location in South Tenerife
The property itself was well located and provided a good base. We arrived at night and had problems getting into the property as instructions were not clear. Azahara is a large complex with many different entrance gates and it took us about an hour lugging our suitcases up and down steps to find the correct gate that the keys fitted. Clearer instructions would have been helpful. Although once in the complex there is a lift and is level to get to the apartment from either the beach front or nearby restaurants there are steps and steep hills so not ideal if like me you have bad knees. Once inside the apartment we found it clean and had everything you needed to self cater. There is a supermarket near by which stays open late and sells a good selection of food and drinks. It was warm in the apartment despite aircon and fan in bedroom. Plenty of towels in apartment and great balcony for sitting out on. Beds not overally comphy but adequate.

Hi Anna. This review is not a true reflection of our apartment so please allow me to respond. The arrival instructions are very clear and we have neither had any other guests get lost. There are 2 large signs at both entrances of the complex. You must have somehow missed it. One entrance has a ramp but offers a flat access street to the beach. The apartment comes equipped with AC and a fan which work well when the blinds and door are closed to cool down quickly. Again we haven’t had any issues with other guests and if you would have contacted me I would have ensured you were assisted whilst there. Regards Caitriona

Very enjoyable stay.
Caits apartment is lovely and we would definitely stay in it again. Just a couple of points:- If getting a taxi from the airport, ask to be dropped off at the Mercadona supermarket. The apartment block is 200m level walk between the supermarket and bakery. There is a lift 20m from the bottom of the ramp once in the block. The side entrance has about 30 steps to carry your luggage up. It is in an elevated position so a good pull back up from the beach. We didn’t get sun on the balcony all day. Perhaps a 2 foot slither for 2-3 hours. I don’t want these to be seen as criticisms, just advice. As I say, if we choose this area again, Caits apt would certainly be high on our list.

Hi Steve. Thanks for the review. I am glad you got to visit at last when I carried your booking forward free is charge from last year. We don’t advertise the balcony as somewhere to sunbathe all day but it does get quite a lot of sun for most of the day. Sun loungers are readily available free of charge at the pool area. Both side entrances to the complex have ramps and lift access so not sure why you went up steps to access unless it was from the front part. Most taxi drivers will leave you at both and we prefer el Camison near Mercadona entrance. We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Azahara and hope you may return one day 😊

New Year trip
Wonderful stay at this lovely property. Very clean, lots of towels, nice comfortable beds. Water, milk, tea, coffee, sugar etc which is a lovely touch. Had a problem getting the box for extra channels to work but not sure if we weren’t doing it right. Would certainly recommend and hope to stay here again.

Fantastic apartment with a stunning sea view!
Just returned from 2 weeks over Xmas and New Year at this lovely apartment. Everything was as described and the air con in the lounge, which had the sun all day, was a godsend, as was the ceiling fan in the bedroom. Very comfy beds and a stunning view over Las Vistas bay. The pool area is very pretty and there were always sun beds available at any time of day. The complex itself is very clean and obviously well cared for. A large Mercadona supermarket is very handy being at the end of the row as are the buses on the main road behind the complex which will take you to several other resorts, San Juan being our favourite. Las Vistas beach is a 5 minute walk away, Los Christianos about ten minutes walk away and the Safari shops and restaurants also 5 minutes walk away. Don't hesitate to book this apartment - you won't be disappointed!

Lovely apartment with fantastic view
This was our first holiday in Tenerife and booked fairly late but we were so lucky this apartment still had the dates free we wanted as it turned out to be a lovely little apartment in a perfect location. Close to the airport and a just a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. The apartment itself was very clean, well stocked with everything you need to have a great holiday and we was supplied with enough towels and a change of sheets to see us through the whole of our stay. Although it was very hot while we was there, we didn't need to use the air conditioning in the lounge but the ceiling fan in the bedroom was a god send. The complex itself is secure and was very well looked after and also very clean. The view from the balcony (which was very private) was absolutely perfect and we enjoyed watching the boats come and go and even saw dolphins jumping out of the sea. The owner Catriona was very helpful and answered all our questions very quickly. Thank you very much for letting us stay in your apartment, we would definately recommend it and hope maybe to return sometime.

Very clean apartment in a great location
Very clean apartment with great views of the sea. The location is very central being close to the beach as well as shops, Bars and restaurants. Caitriona came to the apartment to make sure that all was OK and to give us the second set of keys. It reassuring knowing that the owners make a genuine effort making sure the apartment is up to standard and the guest enjoy their stay. Perfect apartment
Apartment was just as described and location could not have been better. The only photo/description that didnt do justice was the view from the apartment which is stunning. We didn't use the cooking facilities, no need as lots of great restaurants close by. Air conditioning and fan helped cool us down after days in the sun. Washing machine appreciated, nice to come home to little washing and fresh towels daily. Hopefully we will return depending on availability.

Excellent complex and apartment in a good location
We had a change for our Christmas/New Year break in Tenerife this year with the ever increasing hotel prices we opted for an apartment which we saw on the Home and Away site.Our choice was the Azahara Playa which is in an ideal position between Los Cristianos and Los Americas and what a good choice it was too. The complex is spotlessly clean and tidy, very quiet with a lovely pool and sun beds, tables and chairs which were always available. It is a very secure enviroment with inner and outer locking gates throughout.The apartment owner Caitriona was very helpful and obliging throughout answering all queries promptly and re assuringly.The apartment itself is also very secure with double locling outer gate and front door. It too was spotlessly clean with all the fixtures and fittings one requires. Although the bedroom is rather small it is ample and serves it,s purpose,there are two single beds,two double rail wardrobes and plenty of draw space.The living room/kitchen area is large, light and airy with a bed settee, flat screen tv with English channels and all the utensils one would have at home.But wait ! it is through the wide opening french windows onto the patio where the panoramic view of the ocean knocks you out.Here you have a table and four chairs, ample space with a table and four chairs, what a sublime place to sit and have breakfast or an early eveing drink watching the glorius sunset. There are two excellent supermarkets only 5 mins walk from the apartment and it is only a 10-15 minute walk into either Los Christianos or Las Americas where ther are ample bars and restuarants to satisfy ones needs. Oh i forgot to mention although the complex has 4 floors ther are lifts there. We would,t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a chillrd out holiday, we will cetainly return.

Fantastic time
We have just got back from this little gem the apartment is in a perfect position close to the front promenade bars and restaurants.The supermarket is just 50 meters away and there is s trolly in the apartment to make carrying a little easier. The apartment pool and complex in general was spotless would definitely recommend and visit again.

Fabulous holiday - location perfect, a very quiet & clean complex with a lovely pool & ample sun beds and sun shades. Apartment had everything we needed & was light and airy and was spotless. Great view of the sea from the apartment and balcony. Supermarket 2 mins away. Beach, restaurants and bars 5 minutes away. Las Americas short walk away & Los Cristianos centre a short walk. Airport less than 30 mins away. Can't wait to go back. Just hoping it doesn't get booked up.

This apartment is bright,tasteful and provides all that a couple would need for a holiday in Los Cristianos. The private balcony gives stunning panoramic views out to sea., providing sun- bathing space and also a secluded place to take breakfast or a glass of wine. The apartment provides two single beds with ample storage. The bathroom is clean and has a small bath as well as an over bath shower. There is ample hot water. Having stayed in numerous Azahara apartments this place scores by having a washing machine and decent iron and ironing board . There are weekly deliveries of clean linen and ample towels by the cleaner. The TV is small but serves its purpose. Azahara has lovely pristine communal areas and a well kept pool. It is conveniently situated for two supermarkets,access to numerous bars and restaurants and La Vista beach. Thoroughly recommend this one bed-room apartment in sought after Azahara.

Well presented apartment - clean, freshly decorated and well equipped. Have stayed here once / twice each year for several years. Excellent location within walking distance of both Los Christianos and Las Americas. Good selection of cafes, restaurants and two supermarkets 'on the doorstep'. Great location & pleasant quiet apartment complex.
Stayed last week of April. Weather was lovely, just overcast here & there. Apartment is located a short walk to the beach albeit up a couple of short but fairly steep roads on way back. Think there may have been a less steep walk but there would have been some steps. Great little supermarket next door & a larger Mercadona two mins away. Set central to plenty of areas with bars or restaurants but still nice & quiet. Apartment has everything you need & nice & spacious with a lovely sea view. Sofa plenty large enough & comfortable as a spare bed if you have a snorer you need to kick out during the night!! Pool area is very nice although sun loungers are hard so you may need a padded cover. Overall I would recommend the apartment & hope to stay there again next year.

Lovely views!
This is our second stay in this apartment. Great location, few mins walk to sea front. fab views out to sea. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Keys posted out in advance so no waiting round to collect keys. Supermarket is just round the corner making it easy to pop out for provisions etc. Pool area clean and very quiet which suited us, no covers for loungers which you might want to bear in mind. Some lovely restaurants just along the road in San Telmo and the Safari centre is 5 mins in the opposite direction if you like shopping. There were 3 of us in the second week and I would say it was slightly small for 3 adults, but if you don't plan on spending much time at home its fine. All in all a great place to stay.

Best parts of the apt. are clearly the balcony bed with a sea view and the fact you're at a 5mn walk from one of the nicest beaches of the island.

Good location, clean, Close to many things. Improvement area : arrival procedure Keep in mind it could be hard to find a parking- need to be patient
