“Home very clean nicely updated. Plenty of towels nice bedding. Lots of extras provided. The Polaris Ranger definitely a plus in getting to the river with chairs, fishing equipment etc. River was so CLEAR & CLEAN. Oh and a shoutout to the sweet little coffee shop few miles down the road Barksdale Coffee Co was pretty cool. A very quiet relaxing fun 3 nights.”

“The hosts were friendly and responsive from the very beginning (almost two years ago). The place was very comfortable, with plenty of space both inside and out to socialize or take some quiet time to yourself. We were not there during tubing season, but we got to enjoy walks, restaurants, local shopping. I would highly recommend Hummingbird to anyone looking for a place in Concan.”

We used the pool (heated) and hot tub a lot. The firepit is a hit for smores and volleyball court is a definitely a plus. “We were able to book this house on such short notice for an unexpected family event. The house was clean and had a full kitchen. With our downtime, we had a lot of outdoor games to play and also watched th sunset by the frio. We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay. We enjoyed the roomy house and all of the accomdations.”

“This property was perfect for our group. It had a large gathering areas where we could all talk and have fun together for amazing times. It also had casitas for each nuclear group to have private space too. It was great because the Wi-Fi and the pool kept teenagers happy and engaged with each other. It had areas to keep the adults happy all together or for more intimate areas to catch up with others one-on-one. I would definitely stay here again.”

“The property was in a great location, just close enough to the Frio river to not be a hassle to get to and just far enough away to feel someone private and secluded. My party had friends fly in from other states and the site was easy to find and accessible. The pool was a much appreciated amenity after several scorched and long days on the river. If we make our way back down towards Concan I will definitely use this property again. Home was clean and welcoming. Great job.”

“This house is amazing! The design is ideal - every room has a bathroom. The kitchen, living, and dining area was large and really family friendly. My kids favorite part was the large pool and outdoor kitchen area which included a TV. In the mornings, you could sit outside with your coffee and watch deer and other wildlife. Also… the mattresses were amazing!”

“This spot is both beautiful and serene. I loved the individual cabins. The outdoor space was gorgeous. The pool was a great size for a bunch of teenagers. The only negative (if you even want to consider it a negative) is there isn't a large living/family room for everyone to gather out in one spot of the heat. Overall, I would definitely recommend this home and I would definitely rent again.”

“Played Cornhole games in the yard. Had a campfire at night. BBQ,'d during the day. Fished and floated just below the house. The water was cold but was easy to get the body used to. Caught a few fish a piece between 7 of us. Enjoyed the main house with drinks and board games. It was truly our perfect getaway. The weather was humid a couple of days but not too hot at all. “The location along the river, far from the noise of town was wonderful! The dark skies perfect for star gazing! We spent so much time outside on the patio. Nathan the caretaker was very kind, friendly, and checked in on us briefly each day to be sure all was well. A terrific getaway!”
