Great Host...Comfortable Stay
Everything about the location was as described and very nice. The personal touches with dog and travel pictures were nice and It was a good neighborhood for walking my dog. The host was easily accessible and responsive for any needs. I am still grappling with having fire tv rather than normal cable with easily accessible local channels. This is not specifically about this rental since my last 3 have been the same. Perhaps younger people are better at navigating this change.

Cozy and Cute
For only needing the property to sleep and shower, it was great. I thought the bed was comfortable and the place was clean. As a Type A Planner, I LOVED his little guest book. It was so helpful. We also checked out a few restaurants and bars around the property. I loved my stay and if we come back, we'll most likely use this property again!

Happy with the apartment
Guy is a very nice host, very accommodating and responsive. The apartment was clean and had all the essential items for a short stay. The location is very convenient close to the major highway. Nice neighborhood. All the amenities were in a working condition, the bed is comfortable. I would stay there again and would recommend.

The Sleeping Garden
I absolutely loved the space. The Host, Guy, was Johnny-on-the-spot. I picked the space knowing that the garden would be sleeping but it was a key factor in me choosing where to stay. The pricing is absolutely perfect for the space. Guy also has two amazing dogs that I just adored. Thank You Guy for your hospitality and the seeds.

Over all place was nice.We came in after dark and it was very hard to find.It was raining and not well lit. We only saw the house number on the mail box the next day. The place was cute, the only thing was the shower tile could use cleaning with some bleach, And the pump soaps were hard to use because the soap was watered down.

While I cannot control fierce rain that flooded our region worse than we've seen since Hurricane Sandy, I did leave on all exterior lights for you and provided specific, clear directions. You arrived without issue, and complaining about unusual weather conditions is a bit unfair. The bathroom is cleaned thoroughly with bleach after each guest checks out. Since you had no other complaints about cleanliness other than a stained shower tile, that speaks for itself about the cleanliness of the unit.

I love how the owner gives you very detailed instructions about the property and it’s a nice touch as well that he made a binder with all pertinent info. Communication with the owner is excellent. The property was in great condition and I love how everything is so clean. My only problem was street parking which is common in the area but it would be nice is I didn’t have to worry about finding parking. But will definitely stay here again.

Great location, quiet neighborhood.
The location is very nice. The one bedroom and bathroom and kitchenet we stayed in was very nice and comfortable. Detail instructions on how to get in with a book that had everything lined out, TV, bathroom, kitchen. restaurants and train station etc. Lots of little amentias, from individual soap bars, nice towels, internet TV, etc. Bed was very comfortable and two nice relaxing chairs besides table chairs and little kitchen table. Kitchen stocked with everything needed. There is also an outside table with chairs and an umbrella. Our host Guy was great from the start to the end with communication. Very nice place and would recommend it and will stay again when in town. Thanks again for hosting your place.

Great Stay and Location
We went to N.Y for a 4 weekend to take care of some family stuff and have a little getaway. Our stay was excellent. The communication for check in and etc.was great. Location was convenient to airport and major parkways. The place was exactly as advertised in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.

Lovely neighborhood and great host
A good property with everything you might need for a stay on Long Island or if you're looking for someplace to stay and travel into New York City, as the Valley Stream Long Island Rail Road station is only 2.5 miles away. Easy access to JFK as well. Guy is a helpful, knowledgeable host. Property has its own private entrance, and the surrounding neighborhood was very pleasant. Would recommend!

Convenient location has all essentials, it’s just about perfect!
We enjoyed the convenient location, (kept us near family), safe and quiet neighborhood, private entrance and good pillows! I would note that a topper for the very firm mattress, would be perfect for non-back sleepers. Otherwise this studio has everything you need!

A mattress cover is always placed between the mattress and the sheets. Many guests have commented about how much they liked the mattress and how well they slept.

Great property in a great location
This is my second stay at this property. It a nice, private studio apartment. Easy parking. Easy access to JFK, the city, and eastern Long Island. The host is very nice and communicates proactively to make sure you’re comfortable and enjoying your stay. I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in NYC.

lovely studio rental in nice neighborhood
This is a great space for 1-2 people (single person or a couple). Just enough room to spread out, including a full kitchen and a very pleasant outdoor seating area. The host is easy to reach and returns messages promptly. Highly recommend.

Wonderful studio, in a great, quiet location, which is accessible to a variety of destinations. The descriptions for this property are accurate and Guy was a wonderful host. Made it very easy to check in and check out with all the details he provided. High recommendations for this very efficient, clean and well located property. Thank you Guy for your advice to visit the Nautical Mile in Freeport on our last day. It was a wonderful end to our stay in New York. Amazing private space
We had a fabulous stay in Long Island and was grateful to share Guy's lovely home. Guy is an extremely helpful host, the space was immaculately clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We loved Anna (Guy's golden retriever) and lovely garden (personal tour by Guy) added even more character and beauty to the living space. Guy's recommendations for restaurants were superb and if we come again to the area, Guy's house will be the first place we look.

The room was more than I excepted, the host was hospitable and thoughtful. Besides you have everything you need, a book of what to do and see in the area. The kitchen well-equipped and clean. Queen size bed was comfortable and the apartment could not be better located.

sweet spot ~
i was coming off a two week stress trip while hurricane irene was on her way to florida. she hit us just before leaving town for a three week class in NY city and a family wedding in garden city. my husband was in mayalasia and made it home before the storm. i was relieved to say the least, electricity and wifi was gone, jet blue cancelled sept 11 and 12th flights and 13th wasn't looking good. i was able to get out on the 14th. when i talked to Guy about my problem he told me to check with the travel insurance (which i luckily purchased because i was going to be gone so long...thought if i wimp out and want to go home...i wont have to pay for the change:) he also told me that he would let my use the three nights another time if the insurance doesn't come through...which i have still not heard from "allianz" which is likely being swamped with calls. that being said...i would love to return here. it feels like a sweet home away from home, safely tucked along side the homeowners. there is a sense that you must be considerate. i could hear them and thought they could hear me...so if the air is on, i didn't turn on the tv or music. it was ok, because i liked knowing they were there. i felt very comfortable.

nice quiet and pleasant studio. This is a wonderful house. Very well located, in a gated community and close to everything you might need. The house was very clean and well equipped.
