A brilliant place for a relaxing family holiday
This place really is brilliant. So peaceful and so much to keep all the family entertained and/or relaxed. A really good sized house, tastefully decorated, with 3 bedrooms, all together at the far end of the house. It has a fully equipped kitchen - we cooked everyday and had everything we needed to prepare meals. The lounge and office area are bigger than they look and you have the option to dine inside or outside. The house is all on one level and is attached to the house next door, by the far wall in the lounge, but to all extents and purposes, it's a detached house. We barely saw and rarely heard the people staying in the house next door.
The outside area is brilliant - so much space for the kids to run and play. They loved the play frame and the basketball net. There's also a ping pong table, badminton and other games for the family to enjoy. The best thing about this place though is the pool. It was heated and fenced and a really good size. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place. It's really good value for money, and a great base to explore the surrounding area. We used the local bakery in Montignac Lascaux town, and the Intermarche on the outskirts of ML - both were great and had everything we needed. They were about a 12 minute drive away. Sarlat is a 25 minute drive, Perigueux is about an hour away and there are many other great places to visit in between.
