The Property is located at the end of a long private road and the house sits at the center of the 5-acre hobby farm. Goats, hens, a Donkey & Pony roam the pastures. A dozen fresh eggs from our hens. Private and clean 3 bedroom house with comfy beds. 6 Hole Mini Golf and Regulation Horseshoes in the backyard! Try Frisby Golf and Bucket Glow Golf in the upper field. New in 2024, Parking Lot PICKLEBALL QT AND NET. Hot Tub and Barrell Sauna just out the back door. Covered outdoor grilling on the large BBQ. There is a glass-top outdoor eating table under a large covered patio and lots of fairy lights at night. All this is conveniently close to the I 5 and I 205 junction. Please let us know if you are celebrating a special occasion on this trip! The house sleeps up to 8 adults with an extra guest fee after 6 people. New 2024 RV available for an extra guest fee. Registered guests are allowed to bring your K9 family members with a pet fee at booking.

Amazing Mothers Day Getaway!
This sweet little farm was such a spectauclar find! Nestled just out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything. The home was meticulous and even better than the online photos could show. It was very clean and so clozy and the perfect space for our group of 6. The property and outdoor space was spectacular - with all the amenitites we could wish for and then more! We played pickelball, interacted with the farm animals, grilled dinner and enjoyed it on the patio. We lounged on the porch and took long evening walks outside. This place was purely magical!

Wonderful getaway
We booked this on a whim for 2 adults and 3 kids. The house was immaculately clean, organized, and well-appointed. Jimmisue was friendly and available for any questions. The grounds were bursting with activities that were well maintained, we enjoyed the mini-golf, horseshoes, tether ball, basketball, frisbee golf, and many other activities. The sauna and hot tub were evening favorites. There was a spot for outdoor fire but we were too busy enjoying the other amenities to take advantage (next time?). Owners found an item we left behind and sent it back to us promptly, which we were SO appreciative of. Overall a great experience.

Winter family gathering!
The home was incredible, just as pictured, even better! Clean, prepared, the bedding was fabulous, nothing was left to contemplation! Though it was rainy and cloudy through our stay we enjoyed the comfortable sofas, gathering with family in the kitchen and cooking together, the hot tub in the rain, and the sauna, too! Moments when the rain cleared, we enjoyed the miniature golf course, and we’re so excited to hear from the homeowners that the summer will be a pickle ball court! There is so much to do, and only a 10 minute drive to restaurants and shopping! The homeowners were wonderful, kind, courteous, available, excellent at hospitality! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The house was clean and had everything we needed to stay with small children. They had booster seats, high chairs, pack and play and even a toddler bed. It made the difficulty of traveling with littles so much easier. They even had books and toys for the kids to play with when we arrived. The house was so clean and comfortable and really made the trip enjoyable. It felt like you were really rural but was so close to all the amenities. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing location, amazing property, amazing hosts!
Wow. We absolutly loved staying here at the Hobby Farm. My family and I were visiting the area for a family wedding, and as soon as we arrived after a 6 hour flight, we felt immediatly at home. If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would! The owners were amazing, the property was clean and inviting, and lots to do and see. We stayed for 5 nights. We had a few special requests of the hosts, which they were very eager to provide. Nice personalized touches throughout, and the owners helped my 4 year old granddaughter feed the rabbits, chickens, and goats on the farm. Overall an amazing experience, and we will be back again to book this "home away from home"!

Perfect base for Columbia River exploration
We enjoyed the spacious attractive, and well equiped home, the lovely outdoor areas, the activities for children as well as the friendly care provided by the owners. Fresh eggs were a bonus when we arrived famished! It was perfect for three couples and two small children. We traveled easily to Mt. St. Helen, the Gorge, Mt. Hood area, and Camus.

Amazing little farm getaway!
In town for a wedding and we couldn't have picked a more perfect little home away from home! The farm had no shortage of fun and interactive activities for children, teens and adults alike! JimmieSue was readily available to answer any questions, and she graciously sat out on the farm with our children talking to them and patiently teaching them about each animal on the farm, and also allowed our kids to feed them! This was the highlight of our trip and we have not stopped talking about it since! Such wonderful memories made!

Beautiful Property and Great Hospitality
This beautiful and serene place has it all. The owners are extremely hospitable and there are a lot of activities to participate in on the property including axe throwing, miniature golf, frisbee golf and more. The house is extremely clean because everything you need. Our grandkids loved all of the animals…bunnies, goats, donkey, pony, and chickens. Highly recommend!!

Little Slice of Heaven
The home and the hosts couldn't have made our family escape from reality any better! It truly was a rare find and a little slice of heaven. Everything about this home/them made our trip even more special. My husband and I brought our 18 year old son, 12 year old daughter and 10 year old son with us for a quick weekend getaway and there were plenty of yard games and adventures at the house to keep us all entertained. Everything we could've needed was provided. The hosts were very welcoming, quick to respond and yet respected our privacy all at the same time. Their home was just outside of town so it was easy to get to stores, restaurants and quick freeway access. We took a day trip to Mount Saint Helens and the Ape Caves and still had plenty of time to come back to the house to relax and make s'mores. I would 100% recommend this home!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, it was so relaxing on this property. They have everything you need to make it easy as well. Fabulous hosts who helped my granddaughter feed the animals, she loved it! Beds are comfortable and showers are fantastic. We will return for sure!

Lovely Home Away from Home
This is one of the best places we have come across. It was tastefully decorated for the holiday season - very cozy and homey. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens were high quality. The fresh eggs from the farm were a pleasant surprise and the farm animals were a great part of the experience. Plenty of room for family visits and the owners were responsive to any questions we had. They thought ahead of most everything and the home was spotless. Beautiful property and so private - we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home!
We stayed here to celebrate our grandmothers birthday and spend some relaxing family time together. The home was fantastic, homey and wonderful! The property was beautiful and our children loved visiting with the animals. Great stay for family
This was a great place to stay for our family. Our daughters enjoyed the mini golf, pac man, and other games, as well as seeing the farm animals. We enjoyed the hot tub and close proximity to great restaurants, hiking trails, and other sites. The owners were very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend it for couples and families.

We just adored our stay! My family and I stayed for 4 days but I'll tell you that wasn't long enough. We just loved all the animals and the fresh eggs. Although the goats were my sons favorite, mine was Buddy the barn kitty. Jim and Jimmiesue were beyond helpful and accommodating. We were even able to have some of our local family over to the farm to play and enjoy a meal. And last but certainly not least, do not miss out on relaxing in the hot tub. I waited till day 2 of our stay to jump in and I regret it. The serenity of the hot tub at night can not be beat. 12 out of 10 stars in my book. We look forward to our next visit

Wonderful getaway just outside of Portland!
We rented Jim and Jimmiesue’s home on their “hobby farm” for a long weekend with our kids and grandkids and were completely blown away by their hospitality! Our grandkids were totally entertained with all the animals and the many activities on the “farm” There is even a mini golf course on the property and a standup PacMan game in the laundry room as well as a number of inside and outside games. It has a wonderful patio, barbecue, hot tub, sauna and fire pit stocked with wood. For a reasonable additional fee, we were able to host a baby shower outside on their wonderful patio. We can’t say enough about the personal attention given by our hosts, who live onsite and were taking the little kids (ages 2 to 10) to feed the goats, chickens, rabbits and cows, as well as on hayrides on a wagon pulled by their small tractor. Jimmiesue and Jim have put together a wonderful getaway with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a very cozy feel throughout the house and one of the cleanest homes we’ve ever rented!
