“Sonia and Steve are the best hosts ever! They made us feel at home and Sonia's cooking is super good. The owners on the other hand are not so gracious, we wanted to make our stay shorter since ski conditions were nit the best and Sonia talk to them but they were un flexible about the issuse abd did not let us cancelled the other days. But how Sonia and Steve treat us and pamper us, we end up having a great stay.”

“This was a lovely place to stay while in the Adirondacks. It has been completely updated. It is VERY clean and has all the necessities. Dishes, dish soap, and paper towels in the kitchenette. We were very pleasantly surprised by how great this was. There was no staff on site so that was confusing at first because I missed the email with check in instructions but I called the number they provided and someone answered and helped us immediately. We will stay here again.”

“So easy to travel to and stay at while we are in the ADK. We were able to go for a walk, fly fish and relax. We are regular guests at the Hungry Trout and love the atmosphere and the changes & updates to this property that occur each time we return. Meagan, Brad, Matt & the entire staff are all in on our experience getting better each time we return. Our King Bed was super comfy. Our favorite part of our stay is to dine with Meagan & Brad. “I We’re still here but the staff has been great! We came in late at night because of the storm and they stayed up waiting for us. Very thoughtful and a much welcomed oasis in the storm. The room was warm and clean when we arrived, couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!”

“We spent one day and night at this hotel. Beautiful view of the Whiteface mountains. Very home like atmosphere. Nice rooms with everything you need. Owner of the place very nice and helpful. Lots of toys for kids to play with. My 2 and 4 year old had a blast there. Huge living room with tables board games tv etc. I would definitely recommend it and come back there again.”
