“well, we thought it was going to be glamping. It was worse than camping. It stunk it was dirty. The sheets were never changed. There was dirty dishes. The yard wasn’t mowed. It was just terrible. I would never do this again or recommend anyone to do it.”

“We were 8 people coming to VT to watch our girls play lacrosse at Middlebury. The house is as pictured and perfect for large groups. We really had a great time, it was spacious and perfect for hanging out with a large group. We wished the weather was better so we could use the fire pit. The owner of the property was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. We would all definitely stay here again and recommend a stay at this house. Some of us even said it would be perfect for a small……

“This was an excellent, comfortable place for our non-profit members to split while participating at a Fort Ticonderoga event. The layout can't be beat for camaraderie but privacy, group decisions but breakout nooks, views but convenience. We all wished we could stay longer! ”

“Perfect little place”

“Thanks for welcoming us to Middlebury. This spot definitely has all the amenities for a comfortable stay and a great location. Had to knock down a few stars and leave this review just to note here in case helpful for others with more limited mobility or small children that the inside stairs are extremely steep and slippery (no tread/carpet and slick paint) - we found it hard to navigate and had to make different arrangements. Also, some key/lock issues and found clean sheets, but……

“Our room was very comfortable. Had everything that we needed. Julie was very friendly and greeted us as we arrived. It was very clean, quiet and close to the village of Schroon Lake. It was a busy weekend for the area. We got take out at DeCeseare's Pizza. Took it back to the room and relaxed.There were plenty of toiletries and soft towels in the bathroom. Definitely would stay there again.”
