"A small group of friends, myself, and my two dogs stayed here to watch the solar eclipse. The spacious backyard was the perfect place for eclipse viewing and the small town was close enough to Lake Placid for a morning shopping trip but far enough away to avoid the traffic. The house itself has GORGEOUS views, a relaxing hot tub (perfect for after a long hike), and a fully equipped kitchen. Overall it was the perfect home away from home to spend a long weekend."

"This place was the most peaceful and tranquil place we have ever stayed in our life. We were worry free and relaxed our whole stay. The place was clean, warm, and extremely comfortable. "This was a very convenient location to have beautiful lake views and a quick drive to Burlington. Only complaint is conflicting info about whether or not pets were welcome. Online listing said no but when we arrived a sign said pets were welcome so that was frustrating as we had to arrange care for our pets while we were away. Since we spent a good deal of our time at the home we would’ve really appreciated being able to bring our dog."
