“We traveled to Fernandina Beach to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with a short stay. We booked this property because my daughter was bringing friends and the bed situation in this house was just right. My daughter was able to stay with her friends in one bedroom while I had the other bedroom. There was also space in the main part of the house for a queen size air mattress. The house was very clean and as pictured in the listing photos so we were happy. We also enjoyed a couple of the features...

“Loved that it was pet friendly! Sitting out on the deck provided a fabulous View each morning sunrise! It is 14 steps up to the unit, but that was totally fine with us. It had everything you needed in the kitchen for cooking! Extra towels / hand soap and toilet paper. Hate going to a place where this is very little and you have run out and buy asap. Very Quite and manager was super helpful when we called with a quick question. Would go to unit again.”

“The 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for me and my 2 married friends to visit St Mary. They stayed in the queen bed room and me in the twin room. Really cute fenced in patio on the side and a separate covered front porch as well (we kept our bikes there while it rained). Great location for biking around St Mary and also taking the ferry to Cumberland Island!”

“We stayed at the Norris cottage for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The town of St Mary’s was charming. Cumberland Island on Okefenoke Swamp were really fun to visit. The cottage was just as advertised and perfect for us. It was clean, quiet, the kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms were nice and beds were comfortable. For the price, it exceeded our expectations.”

She and her contractor have transformed this cottage into something totally awesome. The location can’t be beat and now the little cottage equals the view and experience. “Beautiful location, views are stunning and to be able to walk a few steps to the beach was a joy! The kitchen and living areas was great. My sister didn't get to come, she ended up in the hospital, but had she come it would have been hard for her to climb the stairwell from the bedrooms to the living & dining areas. The stairs need to be mentioned in the listing, so if there is someone with physical handicaps they would be prepared. Other than that, it was a great place for large families! The...

“Property was as described. I planned a last minute trip and found the surf shack. While not on the beach or historical district, it a very brief drive or Uber. Great host!”

“The house is very close to the beach. Walking back and forth no issues. Master bedroom had a leak from upstairs. Bathroom in master is crazy. Step up to use the toilet and shower step way up don’t slip of piece of marble. Crazy add ons. Wash n fold in town was very useful.”

“Very close to historical downtown and other shopping. What I didn’t like was dusty inside and the disposing of our trash was not super clear. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay there again or any other Tucker Stay property.”

“We stayed at the Seaglass for a few days and it was perfect for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable. There were snacks in a basket when we arrived - such a lovely touch. It was great to have beach chairs and an umbrella for our use so we didn’t have to bring those. It was just a short walk to the beach and the pool and we had a lovely view of both. The location was great - just a short drive to shopping and restaurants. Thanks so much to our hosts for the hospitality!”
