Limited number of the offered meal. We asked for vegetarian meal which was finished.
I couldn't get onto the wifi, but there were so many entertainment options I didn't really need it!
Although the flight was good it wasn’t Virgin, the flight was operated by Delta. We were allocated seats in zone 4 of the plane. This meant we were last to board. Last to be served food and leave the plane. Each of these actions had a knock on effect... they ran out of food selections twice by the time they came to zone 4 as we were last to be served, coffee was cold, cues were longer at security and baggage reclaim. The whole experience made zone 4 the dog shit passengers that time forgot!
I would highly recommend Virgin Airlines for the service, comfortable seats, good and plentiful food, free checked bags, and wonderful, hardworking staff!
We enjoyed the great attitude of EVERYONE on their team; you could tell they sincerely cared about pleasing us.
Airplane seats in other than first class are never comfortable. I found the entertainment control very difficult to use.
BA was late leaving Athens and then we were put into a holding pattern over Heathrow due to weather. If it had not been for the BA staff expediting our security passage and having employees on the lookout for us we would not have made our connecting flight to Boston. We had an incredibly positive experience. On a different note we were disappointed that all food items including water was a charge onboard our flight from Athens to Heathrow.
Very helpful and friendly agent when checking baggage at Terminal 5. Friendly, helpful people and flexibility unlike some other airlines such as Norwegian Air who have really unhelpful and aggressive baggage check in and gate staff where their main goal is to try to find any way possible to charge extra for cabin bags. We will try to use BA in future on our frequent trips to the UK if the prices are competitive to the other airlines. On this trip, I really felt that BA were making an effort to help customers and to minimize the stress involved in baggage checking which has become a nightmare in recent years with airlines attempting to screw flyers by nitpicking on baggage size and weight. It always irritates me that obese people, some of who weigh hundreds of pounds more than we do, can get on the plane without any weight penalties yet normal weight passengers who’s baggage is a few pound pounds overweight get extra charges.
The flight staff were terrific. Everything was on time and the plane was new.
