Holy Island Golf Vacations

Booked a double room for a couple of nights. Somehow also ended up with a set of bunk beds, but bizarre as it was a setup no complaints. Room was spacious, clean and had been recently renovated. The bathroom, while still clean, was one of those little enclosed, almost cabin like rooms where you could use the toilet from the shower while brushing your teeth in the sink. In theory nothing wrong with this, but as someone 6ft tall always emerge with battered electron these. Only other complaint really isn’t the places fault, but I visited during a heatwave and the room was ungodly hot at night. Appreciate that this isn’t a recurring problem in the North East of England, but did affect my stay. Wouldn’t put me off going again though

We got there and there was a note on the door saying the hotel was repossessed as and they still took payment out of my account do I’m now in the middle of trying to get money back,

For what must be an older hotel, the amenities are excellent, modern and well kept, swimming pool is massive with a jacuzzi hot tub, didn’t use the spa but looks amazing, bedroom was lovely, a nice size overlooking the garden area, nice and quiet, didn’t use golf course but ‘The Pin’ is a great place to visit ( in hotel grounds) sports bar, bowling, driving range, shuttle board and lots more, friendly helpful staff, will definitely be back!

Lovely one night stay. The Sunday lunch was delicious, the room was lovely with a huge round bath. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast. I'm sure we'll return.

The front desk staff were really helpful with information. The breakfast was very good :Omelette really tasty. In a very good position for the Tyne river walk.

Although stay was nice, I expected more given the price. No biscuits with little tea and coffee facilities, felt rushed at breakfast as setting up for lunch around you even though it was only 9am and lack of full breakfast selection. Air conditioning difficult to control.
