Location of the property and room amenities were great. The 24 coffee machine and water refill was well utilized as the location permitted crossing the hotel around all tourist destinations. The 1 bed room suite was perfect for a small family of 4.
The check in was done by a trainee, but she was extremely cordial and supported the requests satisfactorily. The breakfast area was compact and functional for a quick breakfast prior to heading out. The lobby decor was functional, the floors felt dingy and could use a little uplift.

Ellen is a lovely hotel in a very good Kensington location, 2 minute walk from Earl’s Court tube. The staff are so accommodating - particularly Petrolena and Shiek - we never had a wish unfulfilled. The beds are comfy. Nice coffee maker in room. Great pillows. The only thing lacking was the onsite restaurant. The staff were great but the food was meh.

The front desk was super kind and accommodating. The lift was a bonus with our luggage and elderly mother. We were very comfortable on our stay, bed and sofa bed were both comfortable. Safe hotel, safe area. Close to museums and places to eat. I absolutely recommend this hotel location
